I love the perspective shifts and how they're used.
Our MC is Ellen and we are getting her perspective the majority of the time. Every once in a while, mixed amongst the Ellen parts, we get the perspectives of various side characters around her. And their perspectives are providing their commentary on Ellen. So it's very how you see your life, versus how outsiders see it...

This Hilly guy is completely nuts and I can't believe Mort would actually think Evelyn had anything to do with this. So what she was creeping around the gym the night he was killed. She's nosy. That's what she does and everyone knows it. That doesn't make her a killer!
