I can't believe how quickly I am flying through this.
It's really all character work, but I'm finding it so interesting.
All the relationships are trash and every single person has some serious issues, but it's so compelling!

This is really interesting so far. There's really not much of a plot yet. We're just meeting our characters and learning about their relationships.
None of the relationships are good. They're all filled with strife, anger, unrequited feelings, secrets. It's messy, but I am here for it. Interested to see where this goes.

This last little section that I read was so interesting.
We learned so much more about the history of the house, the spirits that are trapped there and how and why that happened.
I love how Fraistat incorporates sort of classic-feeling, or historical-feeling occult elements to her stories!

Loving! Meg has finally arrived at the Clinic and is getting settled in, about to dig into her investigation. Definitely interested in how she is going to make out considering her substance dependence. Maybe this will be good for her? I'm not trusting Cara at all though, of this doctor...

I randomly decided to pick this up today.
I am listening to the audio and so far it's super cute.
I love the office setting, but in a dark fantasy world. There's such a great sense of humor to it and I'm already enjoying watching the chemistry build!
