I will never complain about getting through 43% of a book in the first sitting. I'm really enjoying this. So confused about the overall low rating, but I am going to avoid any reviews until after I'm finished. I have a feeling I will yet again be on minority opinion island with this one!

I really hope Annelise Ryan continues with it. I haven't seen any info on a Book #3 yet.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series to any Dog Moms out there, like me, who like to see great Dog Mom representation. I never have to stress, or worry, about the MC, Morgan's dog, Newt. As I know she would lay down her life for him. I love how their relationship is written!!!

This atmosphere is great.

I was hoping to finish this today, but work was crazy and I just ran out of time. I am loving this one. It has so many of the characters I have come to know and love during this High Republic era. We just had a reappearance of J6, and I'm loving it!!

I am so intrigued and also simultaneously feel terrible for Mattie. What a complete trainwreck of a homelife.

Luke seems more bark than bite to me, but I guess you never know.
I wonder what Natalie found out about him?
