Thus far I don't like it very much. The first chapter started off well with klepto Sasha, but then it shifted to Bennie who I didn't find interesting. We then got another POV change as it shifted to Rhea back in 80's San Francisco. Each chapter has interested me less and less; hopefully it shifts back to Sasha and/or her therapist because I was actually interested at that point in the book.

As I've said before, I really like this book. I just wish Morgan would open up and tell her friends the truth about herself. It's getting really frustrating.

I just finished Book 2 which ended on a cliffhanger. I thought the second book was really good. Morgan finally had 'the talk' with her parents which almost made their reluctance to talk to her understandable. I still can't stand Bree and keep hoping something bad will happen to the bitch. What a moral-less witch.

I'm really hooked on Sweep now that I've started reading it again. Even though I think Morgan and her child are handling the revelations of the last few chapters badly, it's a riveting read. I just keep hoping Bree gets some comeuppance and soon.

"Book of Shadows" is getting a lot better now. I forgot what a pathetic bitch Bree becomes later in the first book.

I actually read the first book in the series ("Book of Shadows") years ago, but all I could really remember about it was that I liked it and the lead character had a lesbian aunt. I'm rereading it now in this omnibus which also includes the next two books in the series, neither of which I've read. I'm enjoying it thus far, but I think I prefer Rachel Hawkins' "Hex Hall" a bit more at the moment.

Thus far I'm enjoying it a lot more than Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, despite the fact they're written in a similar style. I guess this just proves zombies make everything better! LOL

It looks like Lauren has figured out who is leaving animals at HotRescues, but she's still trying to figure out Bethany's murder. Pretty fun read even if I don't like a lot of the characters.

While I'm enjoying the story, I'm really not liking a lot of the characters right now. On the cover Lauren is referred to as "likable" but I actually find her to be kind of a judgmental witch. The way she thinks about Mamie really bugs me because she's essentially belittling a woman with a mental illness, and while I understand the difficult position it puts her in I don't like the way she talks about dropoffs either

While the first few chapters were extremely boring, the last few have been riveting. Hearing about the different people in Taliban has been interesting, especially the different reactions when 9/11 occurred. It's a shame there are so many terrorists over there because it actually sounds like it would be an interesting place to visit (though I couldn't imagine staying very long even without the terrorists!).

I'm really disappointed for a number of reasons. One: it's not written by Mortenson despite the fact his name is on the cover. Two: it begins with the boring story of him surviving his failed attempt to climb K2 which I don't care about. Three: I'm reading this because I care about the schools, not Mortenson's love life. Four: too much time spent talking about supplies.

This is one of the books I bought on my very last visit to Borders. Up in West Virginia they had a massive sale (half the store was already empty) and this was one of the books I've got. Thus far I've only read a couple of the glowing reviews at the very beginning of the book.

Except for the sex scenes, I really love the book. Charlaine created a very interesting world.
