It's a little slow but then Shirley will mention something memorable from the game (Frank Fontaine, Arcadia, etc.) and I get all excited. My favorite is Sander Cohen who has already made a brief appearance.

Only read about five pages and thus far Shirley seems to have Andrew Ryan's voice down. Reading Ryan's famous "sweat of his brow" speech sent goosebumps down my spine. Too bad BioShock 2 was nowhere near as memorable as BioShock 1. The original was pure magic. I may have to replay it some time.

Aside from some of the "harmless sexual banter" that comes out sounding more like sexual harassment to my ears, I'm really enjoying this book. The villain is despicable. There's times where he comes across as unbelievable but there are weird fricking people in the world. Shame the movie was so poorly received because this seems like it could have been a great movie series.

My first reaction wasn't great but I'm really getting into it now. It always takes me a while to warm up to "quirky" books, movies, and television shows. The movie looked awful but I'm enjoying the book thus far. Looks like it's going to be a pretty quick read, too.

The big question at this point is when the novel ends, is Bishop dead, cured, or will he carry his new "affliction" into the next book. I'm also liking the newly introduced "Pawn" and hope she sticks around. Robinson has a lot of interesting characters here.

I like the concept of the Herculean Society. I'm curious whether they will play a rest of the part in the series or if the whole Greek myth thing will be dropped for the next one. Alexander Diotrephes doesn't seem like a one-and-done character so I expect he and the Society will play a role in future novels

My enthusiasm has waned quite a bit but I'm still enjoying it. There's just too much weapon talk for me. Obviously there would have to be, they are a special forces organization, but it just doesn't interest me too much.

The last few chapters haven't interested me quite as much as the first few but this seems like it will be a fun series.

Thus far, I'm really enjoying it. The connection to mythology almost guarantees I'll love it but even the military scenes which usually don't interest me were written well.

I haven't cared for the last three stories too much. Could have just been because I read them while I was tired or headachey but I preferred the stories towards the beginning.

Just about done. It dragged in the middle but the beginning was good and the last few chapters have been pretty exciting.

Dracula's Guest was okay but pretty pointless. I enjoyed Judge's House but felt the story was missing something. The Squaw was awesome. Secret of the Growing Gold was good but could have been much better. The Gipsy Prophecy was really good except for the horribly anti-climatic ending. Currently reading Coming of Abel Behenna and not sure what to make of it thus far.

Even though I wish something would happen, I'm enjoying it. Having a hard time picturing Pattison and Stewart as Ed and Bella, though. In the book, they seem a bit happier than in the commercial for the movie. I always wondered how "Fifty Shades" was originally a "Twilight" fanfic and now I understand it LOL. I feel like I'm reading about juvenile Ana and Christian.

For some reason I didn't think Taylor Lautner begin appearing in the films until New Moon so I was surprised when Jacob appeared in "Twilight." Except for a bit of the pathetic angst that went on after Edward saved Bella from getting run over, I'm enjoying the book so far.
