Pretty interesting, especially at the beginning! The scene with the mysteriously quiet plane was riveting and should translate well to the big screen. Curious to see where the story is going to go from here.

Only four pages but I like the writing style as the grandmother tells her grandson a story. Hopefully this will be enjoyable.

All the threads are weaving together now. I forgot about Sandar until he appeared here. Trying to remember how he fits in in the long run, though.

I thought for sure the girl singing at the inn in Illian was the hawk that Min told Perrin about. Pretty good though the Mat sections are my least favorite. I just never cared for him for some reason.

I remember the Aiel but I don't remember them playing as big of a role as they have in DR. Glad Faile showed up though I couldn't remember her name.

Now it's shifted to Egwene and Mat but I want more Perrin LOL. I love these characters so much.

I'm enjoying it and Perrin is my favorite character, but I do want to know what's going on with Egwene and Mat. I wonder what Min's vision of the Tinker with the Sword means. I read the first seven books years ago and...wait, maybe I do remember a Tinker eventually taking up a sword. I think he has feelings for Egwene but I could be wrong. Damn I love this series.

So excited to be reading Book 3. Haven't got to read much, though.

Hard to describe my feelings. Half the time I'm intrigued, half the time I'm thinking, "God this is stupid."

Slow but I like it. Hate the made-up facts in the real life cases, though. Example: Hawley says that after shooting at some tourists, "there was a tingling" in Waltman's groin that was "almost sexual." Seeing as Whitman did not even survive the massacre he started, there is no way to tell. If this were a historical novel, it would be okay, but I was assuming everything in this section was accurate. Very disappointing
