Aftermath of the battle and negotiations

As chapter 19 starts, it seems we've resolved more or less everything set up in the first two books. Now it's clear where the story has to go. (Minus any plot twists)

One twist. Can't wait to see the other shoe drop.

Finishing the Burton Era and then B:TAS. Only missed thing I saw there was pointing out that The Animated Series also birthed Harley Quinn.

Best part so far is that I remember NONE of this. So it's as fresh as reading it for the first time.

There usually isn't much that doesn't age well with Discworld, but boy is there a LOT of fat shaming in this book!

I like this more nuanced look at the Adam West show

Never thought I'd see a comics history defend, or at least seek to understand, Wertham

I knew a lot of this. But there's also a lot that's new to me. It's neat to see how, but for a few choices, we could have had a very different Batman. Or he could have faded away like The Shadow and Green Lantern.

Incredible intro. Can't wait to dive in deeper
