I originally thought this was just going to be gimicky humor, but it's really humanizing the Star Wars universe for me.

I like how Leckie has us spend time in the quiet moments. It's one of my favorite things about the series.

Extremely well-written intro. Very excited to use this, hopefully by the end of this month.

Seriously, I think Managers instead of reading some drek by the old guy who ran GE, should read this trilogy and study Breq's handling of disagreements and leadership style

I can't remember if the previous Presger translator was this much fun, but I'm loving this comic relief.

Political machinations pick up again. Given how much it starts right after book 2, I should have read them closer together.

Apparently the wild card virus has something to do with culture and psychology. At least it seems to make jokers and aces that match the culture of the infected

Shifting back into the way this book is written. Always requires rethinking narrative voice because of the way Ship allows us to know many POVs at once.

"Yo dawg, I heard you like structs, so I put a struct in your struct so you can have nested data types in your nested data types" ...

Is a pretty good summary of the second half of the structs chapter. But at least now I should be in good shape for Advent of Code 2016 Day 04 in Golang.
