So far my only criticism is that most of the stories end too quickly

As with the the previous book, characters who are nice and sweet. This one is (so far) mostly on one planet for the main story and another planet for some flashbacks.

Continues at a slow burn for now

Wow, I didn't think it was possible but I got a serious case of the feels with the Coburn part. (Audiobook, so I'm not sure about the spelling)

At this point my thought is - "do you miss Firefly? Wish the crew was a bit more diverse? (in pretty much all dimensions, including having aliens aboard) This is your replacement!" At least that seems to be the vibe I'm getting as each chapter seems to be like an episode of one of those new town each ep shows (Night Rider, A-Team, 1970s Incredible Hulk, The Fugitive TV show, Firefly)

This shared world anthology is so far a lot of fun

I like that Chambers has gone the Mass Effect route where humans are on the lower end of the totem pole compared to other species. Seems more realistic that way.

Enjoying meeting the crew. This is a great ensemble. Interesting to listen to after the ensemble episode of Writing Excuses.

We've got a few potential conflicts set up and now a magical mystery. Very curious to see where things go.

So far I'm enjoying the characters and the universe Tuttle has created.

A traditional fantasy journey so far

We've learned a lot more about what's going on, but so many more questions.

More confused than ever

Maybe I'll be surprised, but it seems obvious who the narrator is and what the saint of duty's real name is. But recent developments make me extremely curious what the climax and end game is this book are

Loved the story by Mary Fan (@astralcolt) and enjoyed my Tuckerization. I've put in for another tuckerization in the second edition - recurring character role in Sarcastic Fringehead's world? Yes, please!

I'm enjoying this difference in narrative style from more modern fantasy books

A chapter that explains how we would use what we discovered about our data to inform how we should visualize the data

I'd been led to believe that Harry Potter was a rip off of this book, but it doesn't seem anything like it so far. Not as similar in kind as I found Battle Royale and The Hugner Games

I'm going to make a wild guess that the use of 2nd person perspective (I think that's what this is called where it's always) you did blah (which I've rarely seen outside of short stories) is the other merged personality from the first book. And that Ianthey (however it's spelled) erased that person from her mind which explains the difference from book 1

Just about done. It's been an awesome nostalgia trip

I know books don't always survive the adaptation, but, hot damn this final fight would look so awesome on TV or in a movie

Time for back stories

Onto part 5 - the final part. Can't wait to see it all come together and then try and use it on my own visualizations
