This book is so graphic, taboo, smutty, and well written imo. She does not shy away from the gritty realities.

A thunderstorm is coming our way. I can hear the thunder in the distance. It was raining most of the day yesterday. Living in SoCal this is great. Being in a severe drought and missing the rain (personally). We are under flash flood warning for our area, but i'm still excited.

This book is trying so hard to be scandalous~ that it's hilarious. Lol

I don't think this is gonna work for me. I know its less than 200 pages, but I think I am reading a book that rivals Wanton Angel in stupidity. I'm bailing. DNF!

Also I sense conversion porn. The heroine is non religious and uncomfortable with being coerced into it. The possible hero is extremely religious. This is gonna be good.

Still unaccustomed to the willowy legs and trim torso in mauve tights and fuchsia leotard, she admired the image as she would a unique carving in the gallery window next door, then turned away, afraid that when she looked back the vision would be gone, and the thick hips and unsightly midriff of her former detested Rubenesque figure would be in its place.

This book is dragging. I don't give a fuck. Also it's really weird to see a rapist seduce his victim. Especially since she doesn't remember it.

this was really good. it wasn't always an easy read but it was helpful. i don't think shadow work is supposed to be easy. :P

This is actually getting decent. I love Tristan with the heroine. I hope they are end game. I also feel like shit is going to hit the fan soon.
