I can understand the MC's taste in clothing, I mean I usually wear jeans and t-shirts unless I can't. Then again having nice fancy clothing is nice too. I don't think we should have to choose between the two. *shrugs*

At least the creature/monster in this story is a girl, unlike most supernatural YA.

This has been pretty action packed so far. Also one of the characters has a pet seal that is the size of a medium sized dog, who also likes tummy rubs. D'awww. This is not helping me with my secret dreams of having a pet seal. Screw logic and practicality. :P

Also a gorey animal death for those who want to avoid that.

The build up has been slow building and it's quite creepy. This book feels campy to me too.

As much as I love this book and the main characters, sometimes they don't think things through.

Poor Anne. Being forced into an engagement she does not want. I would have told them all to fuck off, but this is set in the 40's so it sucks.

Anne- the first character we meet is a sweet innocent 20 year old who moved from a small town to New York City. This isn't gonna end well for her.

Yeah, I'm DNFing. I hear this book is heavy on the romance and less emphasis on the ghost plotline. *YAWN*
