I'm sooooo bored. Can there be a bloody battle yet?

You know you are procrastinating reading, when you are on pinterest looking at beauty/hair hacks which leads to a site you haven't been to since junior high (www.gurl.com btw) and going through all the hair and make up hacks there.
This is relevant because the book is next to me open, but I haven't touched it in about 2 hours. Also watered the garden.

This book is such a mess. And so convoluted. And this book is so big. Like it feels like I have a million pages left. I'm exaggerating but still.

This should be a morality tale on red flags on an abusive relationship. Isolation tactics---Check.

It's like as soon as Charlie actually parents he ruins it with an asinine comment about how he prefers Jacob- which I agree on, but he could be less patronizing. Less heavy-handed. IDK. Charlie rubs me the wrong way sometimes.

DNF/On-hiatus. This isn't too bad so far, but I can't focus on this. I don't know if it's me- or this book.

So the big baddie is really over the top. This book is so fun, because it's so over the top and dramatic~~~. Also spitfire heroines are my thing.

I love how she builds up the tension, you know shit is going to hit the fan soon. And nothing can stop it. The course has been set.

As much as I complain I love this book. Koja is a brilliant writer.
