Beethoven Sonatina today.

Something of a "cheat" for sight reading since I have worked on it before...but it was probably 40 years ago so it's not like my fingers easily remembered the piece!

This book just gives you weighty feel of foreboding, the feeling that everything is going to come apart, probably at the worst possible moment.

The plot has been moving along and the "nothing" jokes have not been as funny of late, though still amusing.

Two by Diabelli: Bagatelle & Andante in Bb.

Serenade by August Eberhard Miller (previously unknown to me) and Air de Dance by Latour (also not too familiar), this Air having a slightly Celtic feel.

Rondo by Andre' and Air Russe by Hummel.

Von Weber Allemande and a waltz by Schubert. Neither went very well, even the 2nd time around :-(

Last of the 6 german dances (last Friday).

Ch 3 finished. Protest attended, others arrested after Eilish left, son Mark unaccounted for until he shows up a day later, determined to keep going out (protesting?) with his birthday just days away when they will want him for the military. Grim.

The "nothing" jokes continue to amuse me for some reason. And the random math references, like there being one odd number that is perfect. :-)

Fun scene where Wala has slept in a random room since he couldn't find his own but Glotia finds him in the morning; he wants to know how she found him, and she answers very...mathematically? Lol.

Much has happened. Chaz tried to kill Ricca, thinks he did but she was saved by a hermit with one eye. One of Joey's friends has been brought into the fold and evidently has a role to play at the memorial service being planned by Joey's brother, who has come in from NZ. And detective Rolvaag is pretty sure Chaz is a goner because he's a liability to Hammernut now. Should be an interesting ending.
