Heorot: Wow. If you'd told me I was going to like HER before all was said and done? Wow.

Something Borrowed: Something about Harry sassing off to someone important just tells me all is right.

Only two pages into It's My Birthday, Too but... It *does* have my only true fictional love still gay but i love this vampire, shut up, you front and center so.
Yeah. There's that.

Taj's inconvenient love affair with his hair is the most relatable thing I've read in a LONG time.

This has been on Goodreads TBR since the month I joined back in 2014, AND my library finally scored the whole trilogy.

What's weird is this is my first time reading this particular book, but because I've been reading Jeremy's exploits in the sunday comix since I was a wee slayerling, it still feels like a comfort read :D

This trilogy might spur my usual love for the middle book. Firefight was better than Steelheart, but with Cody and Abraham plus Mizzy PLUS quotes like that ^ Calamity might be my favorite.

On the one hand, I love the David-Megan thing thus far because, since they're not actually teenagers, (David is twenty by now) their love is more along the lines of Han and Leia, not Peter and Mary Jane so it's not so sweet you could lose a tooth.

On the other, I, myself am basically David, and I'm in love with Mizzy, so now I want that to be a thing.

...Uh. Superheroes! Guns! I'm here for this finale!

Victor is so dry that I accidentally skimmed over the actual animation of a man made of dead body parts .
For real. I had to go back and pay attention to realize it had happened.
... Holy smokes.

Wow. Boromir- I mean Barius has so many layers as a character.
More than your average Humperdinck, at least.

And Faramir- I mean Ryslind is a tricky one. Think Loki, but less trickster-y and more shoot-you-in-the-back-y.

Oh, hell yes. Into the story WAY faster than with Libriomancer.
