I really like the writing here. Reminds me of High Fidelity, and a little of Inherent Vice.
Loving how the music fits in.

Let's face it, they had me at 'aging punk rocker'.

It's gonna change as soon as I review my most recent book (here in just a sec) but I wanted to share this first so everyone can have a good perverted pun giggle on Humpday. Enjoy.

Am I the only one who's pissed at Quincy for beating Jeff up about his job? He's a criminal defense attorney. It's a SUCKASS job, but somebody has to do it. It's a job lawyers have to do.
Innocent until proven guilty.
Has to be done.

Beyond that, enjoying the FRAK out of this.

It's chilly and rainy today in OK for the first time this fall and that feels perfect for this. Whether it'll rock or suck, I don't know. But i like the atmosphere already.

Days like this I miss our sun-room. It could be pouring out and I could sit on the couch with a dog on either side of me and read. *sigh*

This has ads for the InuYasha anime DVDs in the back. I am SCREAMING.
I haven't watched that series since I was five.

Lemon bars and a fart joke. Those are the only parts of this book that feel worth mentioning.

My favorite character so far is the lemon bars. Those suckers sound GOOD.
