A quick 20 minute lunch turned into an hour lunch thanks to this book. I didn't even though my food, I just kept reading. Obviously, I think the book is very good so far.

I really look forward to this book. So far, everything Saare writes, I enjoy. Too bad I have a tough work week, stuck in and out of court, dealing with budgets, etc. I'd rather be reading!

Ok, so this book is technically two books with an entirely different set of characters in the second book, I'm hoping the author eventually brings them together but frankly the second group of characters bores me. I loved Amy and Brad and wished there had been more of them. Hopefully, Amy comes back later.

I can't believe I didn't like this one as much as Darkest Passion! I still love Gideon and I love the cute little surprise at the end but I thought the story was boring. I really felt it was more a setup book for the other characters (aka next book in the series).

for some reason, this book is boring me. I still love Gideon but the book seems to be just a filler (at least so far).

At part 4, I'm not happy! Can't tell you why I'm not happy but I'm not (I'm sounding like a little kid..lol). If I tell what has happened in the book, it will spoil it but I'm annoyed!

I usually make a point of never reading two books from the same series right in a row especially if they are romance. I find that the stories are so similar, I become disinterested. In this case, I'm eager since I loved Gideon in all the earlier books. He was/is my favorite. This one has to be good!

This book is addictive. Once I start, I really don't want to stop. When I'm not reading (ok, listening) the book, I'm thinking about it. There are so many questions unanswered and usually I'd be annoyed by that, but I'm not. This book is everything I usually don't like- long, drawn out, military, conspiracy, spiritual but I love it (so far).

Ok, I liked the book. Read it all in one day because it was good. Aeron grew on me and I liked Olivia towards the end.

Ok, I admit, I like the book. I even like Aeron. He is loyal, and nothing I like more than a man that will do whatever he can for those he loves.

I'm in part 2 now and I would have to say this book has captured me. There are so many individual stories and so far, I find them all fascinating, even evil Richards. The spiritual element has me stumped. But I don't want to give spoilers so I'll leave it at that. Amy is breaking my heart and if she dies, I'll be pissed!!!!

1st half of this book was so incredible, perfect story, perfect mystery, great action, etc. The second half dragged and was boring. I would have believed I read a different book if it wasn't for the same characters throughout! 1st half-5 stars, 2nd half-2 stars,

I've been listening to this book for about a week now. I cried after the first chapter. I usually won't read/listen to these over-hyped books since it is all about marketing, but this one intrigued me even before they went on the publicity tour. It has been such an experience listening to it. I love it, I'm disturbed by it and Amy makes me want to cry everytime!

Once I started reading, I couldn't stop. What a great story. I stayed home from going to the river just because I was so caught up in the story.

I found myself skimming a few pages. I don't feel anything for the main character. Alexandra is slightly boring and her reaction to Varik seems way over the top. The book is lacking depth, and the changing POV makes it worse.

It's amazing to me how much I like this book considering I wasn't in a romance/erotica mood. It just shows what a good writer Hunter aka Saare is. Her writing style is so good, I think she could write a technical manual and keep my interest!

I initially didn't like the book, the world seemed weird, the characters harsh, gritty. Then, around page 50, I became sucked into it. Dakota is a great lead character. The story is so different and the world is as unique as Dakota looks-all 6ft 2 of her!

Byron about his sister... "She's a life-sucking, backstabbing, two-faced, bloodthirsty, disloyal, and conniving bitch. I think this place would suit her just fine.”
Luc's response..“Why don‟t you tell me how you really feel?”.
