I need something dark, with lots of scary in it! I'm in one of those moods. Where are the good dark, horror filled urban fantasy books?

I hate to do it. I'm 1/3 through the book but I cannot continue. There is something about Celia that drives me up the wall. I'm not supposed to despise the main female lead but I do. I'm not going to continue this book but I'm also not going to rate it. I think this is just a personal bias on my part since plenty of people love this book. I just don't.

Ok, Dru kicks butt. Love Graves too!

This is going to be interesting. I wasn't the biggest fan of book 1 (which was one of my first ARC's). I have the ARC for book 2 now so I wonder how I'll feel about this one?

Wow, this book is the tale of two books. First 100 pages- pretty darn boring, next 170 pages- interesting, exciting and I was dying to know what happened. Review to come later.

So, I think I've figured out one of the potential twists in the book (gramps is involved). Interesting.

I started this book (as a paperback) before and I liked it but never finished it (I forgot what happened, why I stopped). Now on to the audiobook- Narrator has a very nasal sounding voice. Very annoying at first and it makes Dru sound like a bitch for some reason. Eventually, you get used to it. I like the beginning & so far so good. And yes, I do know it is YA & if I'm sick of YA, why torture myself more? Who knows!

What a difference a hundred pages make. This book started off painfully slow. So slow, and so "teen angst", that I really didn't want to read further. Suddenly, (Luc finally realizes there is something more going on than he was told) the story is better, the characters are more interesting and like that, I'm enjoying the book!

Ok, I had to stop this audiobook. For some reason, I can't seem to concentrate on it. My brain is not functioning or something and I was missing so much of what was happening. I'll try again later.

After a small YA break, I'm back to the book. Like I said before, nothing wrong with the book, I wasn't in the mood.

So very predictible ending. Nevertheless, overall good book.

Confusing start. It's UF so there is alot of info coming in establishing the world. Me- confused chickie. I'll stick w/ it though. I am hungry for a good UF.

Good story. Solid PR. I really need to sleep at night but once again, I was reading until 2am.

nothing wrong with the book. I just need a YA break. Will read soon.

I'm so sad this book is over! I'd give it six stars if I could. Thank you to all who encouraged me to read this one. I loved it. I feel stupid for putting it off so long. Now I'm depressed book 2 is not on audio. The narrator for the audiobook had such a great accent and handled the language so perfectly, I want her to do book 2!

I don't want to be done w/ this book. I LOVE it. I have Changeless but I want it on audiobook. I thought it was available on audio but it isn't. I might just wait until Changeless is on audio and then download it. I don't think I've laughed this much in so long. The entire naked Lord Maccon sequence of events was so fricken funny.

Couldn't sleep last night so I finished this book up. I liked it. Not as much as the first, but I did like it!

I LOVED Through The Veil. It was one of the first PR/UF books I ever read. I was so disappointed there was no book 2 at the time. Now there is a book 2! Yeah!

I don't know if I can continue to read this book. It is THAT bad. What the **** is going on this book?

Ok, so this book is so sad. There is editing errors in the book but I can easily overlook the errors. Jenny's sister is evil. Horrible. I thought I had a bad sister but oh my, evil, evil, mean, nasty!

I started this book last night and so far, it is a mess. I can't figure out what personality is talking. The chapters are short but I spend so much time figuring out what is going on, I'm missing out on any story.

Cliffhanger! I hate that I liked this book so much since there are quite a few inconsistencies and silly theories but overall, the story is very good.

Funny- scene where Alexia was sitting on Lord Maccon's lap and trying to "scientifically" analyze how much he'll "grow" with continued movement on her part. OHMYGOD, I was laughing so hard. Sad- when she couldn't believe someone like Lord Maccon would really want to marry someone like her. Her self worth makes me want to cry. Her family is awful!

I love group invitations and I do join lots of groups BUT if I've turned down your group invitation everyday for the past 6 days, there is a good chance I'm not going to join.

Ok, so I'm at work and I love this book so much (on audiobook which the audiobook narrator is outstanding) that I put my MP3 on while I'm doing my "work". Of course, I get caught up in the book and I sit here and laugh. Now, my co-workers think I really am losing it! Not that they didn't think that before but oh well. Luckily, I can shut my door. :)

Don't get me started on the spider. GROSS!
