Ok, I have to wait until Saturday to read this so I can use it for my series challenge. Darn, darn, darn. Oh well.

I have an absolute love/hate w/ this book. Hate- inner dialogue- enough with what each character is thinking after every action. One kiss= 10 paragraphs of Roxy going on about what she thought. Come on, enough is enough. Love= everything else.

I usually lose interest in a series after 5 or 6 books at the most, Kresley Cole is amazing because her books get better as the series go on. I can't wait to start this book. Why can't anyone pay me to read for a living! I guess I should be grateful for my job and stop whining that I am at work and not reading.

slight stall in the story but very good overall. Sometimes, Roxy thinks too much. She's a bit too hard edged but otherwise, the story is flawless and fascinating (no "F" is not the letter of the day for me).

Okay, I've had two crazy busy days but I've still managed to read 200 pages (lock myself in bathroom, read while cooking food and yes, I even glanced while at a stop light..but only once). Once you get past the beginning and remember all the characters (and creatures), this book is simply addicting. Gay is a perfect UF writer.

Emma and the Hellhound..fun stuff.

So far, as good if not better then the first book. I'm loving it.

You really have to pay attention to the characters, they can be confusing. Great story.

Normally Roxy isn't so long winded but boy oh boy, the girl won't shut up. I hate when authors try to "explain" everything in one breath. Everything up to this chapter has been great though. Just dragging a bit right now.

Is it bad to say I already love it? I'm such an urban fantasy geek. I LOVE Hank. I want a male Siren.

How will I do anything tonight but read? I LOVED book 1 and I'm so excited to read this one.

I have like a billion books coming in the mail and I have no clue what I'm going to do! Ok so, it's not really a billion but I'm in book heaven soon enough.

Ok, good story. Not wow but good.

I can see why everyone loves this book. Very sweet star-crossed love story.

Ok, one warning..the descriptions can be very graphic (not sex graphic but blood graphic). Of course, as a former horror addict, I love it (Ok, makes me sound twisted but oh well). There are lots of very descriptive paragraphs dealing w/ blood spurting out of various orifices, skulls, boiling skin, etc. Makes you want a tasty sandwich huh?

Super easy read. Which is nice. I swear I've read this story before though. Besides the obvious similarity to West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet, I swear there was a book, about ten years ago, just like this one.

How can you like a book but not like the main character? I don't know but I managed to fall for all of the minor characters and the story but I can't stand Shia.

I am lovin this book. It gets better and better. I'm surprised how interesting the Top World vs Other World is. Dagan and Roxy are great characters.

I don't get Shia. Vampires a big no, some witches- okay, werewolves- well, depends on the werewolf. Shia really is a mess.

Oh goodness, what trouble Shiarra has gotten herself into. She's a mess. I like Royce, even if so far, it looks like he is playing Shiarra for the fool she is.

I had started this audiobook before but the characters were confusing, and I wasn't paying attention enough to keep track. I had a long drive yesterday so I was able to really get into the book. I'm happy I did. Once you get past the confusing characters and what is going on in the other worlds, it is quite the enjoyable book.

I was really hesitant on starting this one because while I like my main characters to be real, and vulnerable, I was concerned that Shiarra was too real. She was powerless and gasp, just a human. I didn't want alot of self-pity from the main character. So far, this book has exceeded my expectations. Great start and I really like Shiarra.

Started to drag towards the end. Chaz actually started to bug me for some reason. Overall, good book though.

I really enjoyed this book. A bit predictable at the end but overall very good. Kira is alot like Cat but I think even tougher. Mencheres, such a gentleman!

Ok, this book is WAY WAY better then First Drop of Crimson. I'm very surprised. I love Mencheres and Kira. I didn't think I'd continue with the Night Huntress World series after reading and only tolerating the first book but my love has been reborn. I'm a big Cat and Bones fan and will never stop reading the Night Huntress series but now I love the off shoot to that series!

Ok, this is such a fun read. Nothing too serious, nothing too deep, just action and aliens and alot of yummie sully.

Outstanding book. Loved it. Absolutely fascinating. Can't wait for next one. Review to come soon.

Wow, this book is non-stop, there is so much going on, so many characters, you will not be bored, you have to pay close attention. Great read, great writing. Very impressed.
