First, I really hope Jesse turns out to be the good guy in this book. Seth is an Ass! Helen's chapters make me cry! I had an adoptive Grandma when I was a kid so I keep thinking of her in place of Helen. I'm still iffy on Hanna, she is super immature.

Didn't mean to start this book. It wasn't next up on my list. I just wanted to "glance" at it. Glancing turned into 93 pages. I've read plenty of vampire books over my life, this one has one of the best explanations for what a vampire can and cannot do. So simple, straight forward and logical.

I am so frustrated right now. I'm trying to save my mom's house from foreclosure and her lender company is so bad. My mom made a horrible mistake w/ the 2nd mortgage but I can't believe what they did to get her signature! My mom escaped from communist East Germany, and lived a life most of us only read about. Now, she is going to lose her home. Sorry for the vent!

Jack, oh my god, is killing me. I cried already twice. Now, I cry easily but jeez! When he has to count the thumps while hiding in the closet until "Old Nick" is done. How sad!@!!! His innocence and his outlook on the world is so sad. His mother is going to have problems if they escape.

Wow, what a great book. Lots of stuff happens in this book so if you can't pay close attention, forget it. Otherwise, it is truly a great book!

Ok, Marshall is a cutie! It is a destined mate story but w/ a small twist. Marshall knew to let Mira go off on her own for a while because being w/ her could jeapordize her safety. A twist since usually it is the he-man mentality of "you are my mate and I am never leaving your side".

Stanton is going to be interesting. I wonder why he really was sent to Lost Pine?

Ok, so I really want to wait until Changeless & Blameless come out on audiobook, and I was craving more books like Soulless. This book was recommended to me and then sent to me! Thank you! I promise to read-it-forward! Anyways, it is a great beginning. The love spell at the beginning is too funny! Poor Emily with her best intentions gone wrong!

Steamy! Not alot of pages so the reader jumps right into the story. I like that, the two main characters have a history. One note- the cover is very busy! Not bad, just busy!

I think when I read book 2, I'll switch to paper (which I need to acquire since I don't have). The narrator for the audiobooks was a bit annoying & I think it took away from the story. I like the book overall though.

I like this book but I'll tell you, Dru needs to stop calling Graves "kid", it is driving me crazy!

I have to admit this book has surprised me in a good way. Better than I thought. Yes, it is PR w/ fated mates even but you can tell the author can write. She's really good at character development and that can make any story much better.

Interesting characters. I like the three brothers. I also like Sara, she is just the right combo of tough but not too tough, slightly bitchy but gentle when needed. Confusing- the new names for vampire child, community, etc., it would be great to have a glossary. She gave definition at beginning, but I keep forgetting!

Ok, so I'm totally up in the air about Christophe. I adore Graves! He is what Dru needs!

1st, can I tell you how much I hate this cover! I don't think a fence is going to stop him- he's a vampire! LOL. I seem to be very anti- paranormal romance lately. They are getting so cheesy and so He-Manish (new word, I know). However, this book is actually very interesting so far. There are a few typos but since it is an uncorrected proof, I'm hoping they (author/publisher) correct them before they release it!

Jennifer Rardin (Jaz Parks series) passed away on Monday, September 20th. How sad!

OK, I think this is the fastest I've ever read a book. I seriously could not stop reading this book. It is just like watching a horror movie. Wonderful writer. Loved it. Review coming soon.

I spent the last two hours at the doctors due to an allergic reaction. Thankfully, I had this book. What an exciting, great book.

Yeah Graves! I think, he healed too fast, he better not turn later. I like him! Dru is very cool. I would be freaking out in her shoes or should I say combat boots.

Her nose was half rotted away by disease. There were boils and sores covering every inch of skin. Her lips were pulled back from broken teeth, showing black shrunken gums.

Ok, I know you observant people are going to point out that this is a YA and goes against what I was saying that I need a YA break but oh well. I wanted dark & horror & it shows up in my mail box. It was meant to be!

I love how dark this book is. Poor graves, he better be okay! I love how he is suffering, and he still acts like a typical teenage boy!
