Ok, so I like this book BUT some of Shea's decisions are really dumb chick moves. Not too sure I want a dumb chick book. Please tell me she gets smarter and this isn't Torin to the rescue for the dumb chick who can't figure out her left foot from her right? Please!!!!

GRRR! Bleh! Can't believe I'm at work on Super Bowl Sunday! Absolutely freaking crazy!

Haven't had a chance to read this one this weekend. My evil sibling aka my sister (I CANNOT believe we are related) is here and we are moving my mom into an apartment.

I love how Hoyt writes. So far, I've enjoyed every book of hers that I've read.

Oh My god! I've never been so annoyed with a book. Endless rambling pages of Jamie's thoughts, Claire's thoughts, Bri's thoughts, I'm surpised we didn't hear from the damn dog! The entire time I'm waiting for someone to get a clue that Mackenzie that Jamie thought was the rapist is actually Roger! Talk about dragging it out! The book is already a billion pages, she didn't need to drag it out!

Didn't think it was possible, but this book is better than book 1.

I have high hopes for this one!

Lizzie, you are going to get Roger killed. Jamie is NOT a happy daddy right now. Hopefully Bri and Claire can get back home in time so Bri doesn't end up with a dead Roger!

I really like this book. Did I mention that before? Darn work!

I started this book at midnight since I couldn't sleep! 2 hours later and I couldn't stop reading it even though I needed to be up at 5am. I was forced to walk downstars and lock in the laundry room just so I'd stop!

I don't have book 1 but I'm guessing I don't need to read book 1 to enjoy this one. I'm a Shelly Laurenston virgin. I've heard over and over again that I MUST read her books so now I am!

I do not do contemporary. Last time I tried, it didn't work. HOWEVER, the excellent reviews make me want to read this sooooo... I'm going to try contemporary again. This will be my last attempt since if this doesn't work, nothing will.

So, I'm setup to work from home but I'm not. Why? Because all I do is read! I have NO SELF CONTROL!

WTF would Roger leave Bri on her own to go fetch a stupidass gem. Why Roger, why? Oh and what happened with the Captain? I know something happened and it will probably be explained in flashback but I'm so irritated with Roger. You risk your life & then after you take her virginity, wed her (ok not in that order), you decide that you need to get the damn gem right then & there. Talk about setting a story up for doom!

A bit weird to be reading 3 historical romance novels at the same time BUT I owe this book to a friend so I have to hurry up and read it!

Getting hot in here..again.

Thankfully, this is more than a teen romance story! Thankfully, I have lots of time today to read since I'm technically working from home for the rest of the day. See, I'm working..right?

Very predictable story. I can guess what is going to happen at every turn. However, I LOVE the way the author writes. Her ability to make me feel for the two main characters (Ranelaw aka Nicholas & Antonia aka Toni) is impressive. I love Ranelaw and watching his transformation. You know you love a book when you catch yourself physically grinning while reading it!

I was way wrong about this book. I was late to work because of it (ok not because of the book but my inability to stop reading it).

Ouch! I just bit my tongue so hard! WTF, I'm not THAT hungry!

Ok, a girl/boy romance story dealing w/ racism. I hope there is more to this. In fact, I know there has to be since I trust my GR friends & their love for this book. I'm sticking w/ it.

Since I still can't find Battle Royale (which I'll reorder if it is lost), I'm going to this book. I'm scared to read this since I want it to be as good as the hype!

I'm so sad. I can't find my book. I'm all set to head out for lunch & I can't find my book. I have a huge bookshelf at work, tons of books but no Battle Royale! This is the 2nd book this week I've lost! I might have it at home but I don't know! Darn, I was so ready to read this one.

Can't wait to begin this one! Off to lunch & reading!

FINALLY, Bri is on her way to America. Still don't know why she left Roger behind and didn't even bother telling him. I'm guessing I'll find out soon enough. I wonder what the story is with Lizzie. Guess I'll find out soon enough too! I'm a bit impatient since I feel like I've waited for half of the book for the story to finally begin!

So I sent my friend some books (in Michigan). She asked that I secured the box because her postal worker kept putting the boxes on the wet/snowy front porch. Well I "secured" it! I got this note- "Thanks Michelle for the books, it took 2 days, five swear words, and lots of creative slicing through the box without hitting the books but I managed to open the box". OOOPPPS, maybe less tape next time?
