Ok, that was a weird update. Let me try again- I'd never choose this book on my own, it is a total leap of faith on my part based on the reviews of my GR friends. So far, great start learning about Sorcha, her brothers and her ass of a dad.

This is (once again) me having total faith in my GR friends. It's definitely a book I'd never choose on my own. But I can take a leap of faith every so often. So far, I love the beginning, learning about Sorcha, her brothers, and her ass of a dad.

The best cast of "non-main" characters- Drake, Colby, Maya, Cassandra, the magic mirror, Jamison, Grandma, Elena (i think that is her name), evil sister, Nash, and so on. Seriously love this book.

Yeah, I'm almost done. So, one sad thing happened towards the end. I'm so indifferent to this book- it's like whatever.

Dare I say it, I love this one more than book 1 and 2. Mick is in big time trouble (no spoiler there- see book summary) but the side characters in this book are in full force. If you liked all the characters and their interactions with Janet in the other books, you'll LOVE this book. Did I mention Drake yet? Yummie. Oh and bad sis is back too.

It's been a long time since a book has seriously creeped me out to the point of thinking there was someone in the room with me. This is a ghost story at its best. Wonderful imagery, too wonderful.

This book bugs me. It has moments of nothing then moments of "wow". I finally like Elizabeth but it took almost the entire book for me to do so.

Ok, so Alfonso, you may not have done what everyone thinks but you are one mean SOB. oh and other POV, you may see clearly now but you still are a child. bleh...this book has me on the edge of my seat because I can't figure shit out!

Very slow start. Barbara was hard to stomach at the beginning. I couldn't get a feel for her real self under the formality of the Ferrara court, but now her true self is out. She is very smart, and is playing real life chess. Trying to outsmart the people that want to see her harmed. There is another POV that intially annoyed me but now, I like it.

Oh I don't like Barbara. I hope she improves.

Already, there is a wow-i-didn't-expect-that! Don't know what to think of Barbara. She seems power driven/hungry but I'm guessing that will change.

I was going to read This Side of The Grave next but I need a PNR/UF break. This book seems wonderful. I'm hopeful.

Ok, so lots of twists and turns, I'm hating alot of what is going on. Eugenie, you stupid ass, Dorian, you lying ass, Kiyo, you... you shapshifting typical male. Bleh, this book is turning out to be just a setup for book #4. NOT HAPPY!

So far, nothing new. Kinda just bleh. I'm guessing it picks up later.

FINALLY, Ms. Lizzie is having crap happen to her. She was starting to annoy me w/ her little perfect non-life. I was hoping for spotted fever, severed limb, something, anything. I'm happy that the author listened!

So close to the end and no time to read today. Bleh- real life!

I'm not going to have anytime to read today. I actually have to be social at lunchtime with actual real life friends. Jeez, what do people think I am? Normal? Pleez....

I said sleep was overrated last night and I meant it. Damn book, it had to be so damn good!

Let me show my love for Jennifer Ashley, in my hand I have This Side of the Grave AND Iron Crowned (ok, not literally in my hand, my hand is small and dainty but you get my point) but what do I read next- Primal Bonds! Why? Because this series rocks and I loved book 1 and everyone is saying book 2 is better so I had to go for it! Bleh, screw sleeping! It's overrated!

I'm reading books that are short in length due to the expected arrival of highly anticipated books. I didn't expect to enjoy the books I've been reading lately as much as I have. This book is very good and I sat in my work parking lot trying to read just one more page!

This is such a great book. When I'm not reading it, I'm thinking about it. It's been a long time since I've been seriously spooked from a story. This book is spooky, creepy, with a great storyline. Love it and I'm not even done yet.

Ok, I can see why this book is loved. How can you not love Francesca? I love viewing the world through her eyes. Oh and don't get me started on her mom. Love Luca too, like how Francesca named him. Too cute.

I'm reading this entirely based on the great reviews on Goodreads. So far, very cute.

I was up half the night (again) reading but not because of I-can't-put-book-down syndrome. Nope, I decided to Angelina Jolie my lips- not on purpose. Somehow, I got my infamous allergic reaction to something (I ate NO mangos). My lips look like I stole them from Angelina Jolie. UGG. Ok so I finished the book and it was pretty good, okay, nothing WOW.

Ok, so Michelle Moran's books are very easy reads and this is no exception. That isn't a bad thing, they keep me interested. This book is good but not great. I like it enough to keep reading but it definitely isn't wowing me.
