Vacation Day #2 (evening)-good productive day. Ending sooner than I thought. Need to go to bed. Decided to volunteer in the morning and realized I have to be there at 7am. With time change, it's going to be rough waking up!

Ok, the Comanche kids- very cute especially Blackbird.

When I was reading The Bride, I commented that I was going to end up finding and reading every possible Highlander Romance book out there. Did you think I was joking? hehe So, I'm really liking this one. I REALLY like Aledander and Aluinn. Good characters. Still trying to decide about Catherine. I do like the maid Deirdre.

If this book does not become a movie, movie makers are stupid. It is non-stop action with one of the most charming male characters.

It's about damn time Hunter you figured shit out. Stop thinking with your knife and your penis and you'll do much better.

Ok, I can understand why a 12 year old boy is marrying a 16 year old girl but the bedroom scene with her dad and the Cardinal, that is fricking disgusting. Oh and yuck the incest. Damn, these people didn't live a long time so I guess you had to get it all in at young age. This is a crazy book.

Vacation Day #1 (evening)- Finally did all the "morning stuff" at 5pm, walked the dog (again) and came back to read more. Ate more spaghetti. Kids and I are texting- they miss me. My teens miss me! Is it possible? Aren't all teens supposed to hate their parents? Did I mention I miss them and my hubby too? Need a quick cure for dog gas or I might die of poisoning before they ever see me again!

Vacation Day #1- no kids/no hubby- noon- done nothing productive, ate Cheetos and spaghetti for breakfast. Still in PJ's (hubby's shirt). Ate icecream for dinner last night. LOVIN IT!

So Hunter is happy when Loretta's nipples respond to his tweaking. She is tied up, delirious with fever, and seriously sunburnt over her body. It is called an involuntary response to a stimuli. Women get it when the wind blows, when fabric scapes our body a certain way. Don't be so damn cocky Hunter- it's not romantic, its assault.

I REALLY have to stop glancing at books. Before I know it, I'm 85 pages into the book. Sancha intrigued me from page 1. Her dad is an ass. Her grandfather- with the tomb of the dead guys- a bit weird. I'm afraid to see how her relationship with her brother will play out.

I'm yawning as I type. I stayed up way too late reading this. How would I describe this, a scarier Men in Black but from the view point of a teenager- Jamie Carpenter. Btw, I love Jamie, not in a sick way but I want to hug him and protect him. He is such a good character.

I didn't mean to start this book but once I glanced at and read the first page, I couldn't stop reading it!

The great thing about YA books? Super easy to read. Ok, so I'm gonna admit, this has been a surpisingly good book. Too bad I've had it sitting on my TBR bookshelf forever!

ok, surprise, surpise, this is actually good.

4 wonderful, glorious days without hubby and kids (I'm guessing I'll miss the crap out of them by day four but right now-NOT). I have no obligations other than working today and I can sit down for 3 and half days and do nothing but read (yes I'm a nerd and would rather read than socialize with friends).

I'm doing some manuscript reading right now so I haven't started this one (I only do one ebook at a time vs reading multiple paperback/hardcovers at a time). When I read this one, I don't plan on stopping.

I'm trying to reduce the # of YA books I have so I'm reading this one right now. So far, not bad.

Not only can I hear every breath the narrator takes, but also every swallow, sigh.... shoot, I'm suprised if I don't hear her fart next!

I WILL tolerate this narrator!

Still not feeling the book but I'm hopeful. I noticed other reader's updates and they seem to feel better about the book towards the end of the book

I forgot that I had this on audiobook so I figured I might as well listen to it since I already have it. The narrator might be Darth Vader's daughter. Every word sounds like she is grasping for breath. It might take a bit to get used to. Why can't Davina Porter narrate all audiobooks in existance?

For some reason, I'm having the hardest time keeping the names of the new characters straight. I keep flipping back wondering who the hell is now talking and why do I care? I love everything regarding Mercy and Adam but the actual storyline is not capturing my interest AT ALL.

I wanted dark, and this is the perfect remedy. I LOVE this series!

I'm gonna need something dark, creepy and downright messed up to read next. I've been way too cheery and full of laughter reading lately. I'm starting to irritate my own damn self.

My dog loves this book. I extended our walk by an extra mile just so I could keep listening. She recommends I get more books like this as she had most fun on her walk.
