Very quick read. Nothing "wowing" me right now. Kind of boring. In England, Cal and Jenna w/ Sophie. Bleh, Bleh, Bleh.

Some YA books I like, some I don't. I really can't explain my thinking (the story of my life). Book 1 I really liked. Thus, I'm onto book 2. Simple enough right?

hmmm... well I liked it enough to read it in one night.

Who knows how my brain works. I have all these new books that I "need" to read, and I end up starting & enjoying a book that is a 20+ year old bodice ripper.

I don't even know where to begin! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!

So my daughter texts her father this morning and says "I'm pregnant". The dumbass forgot it is April 1st, and almost had a heart attack! As soon as he told me what she texted, I laughed and he looked like he was going to kill me. I then reminded him of today's date. Nevertheless, he isn't happy with our teen girl!

OK, so, I've read lots of PNR. I have two favorite men- completely different- Jamie on one side/Mick on the other. Well, it is now Jamie on one side and Mick and Ares on the other. I can make room for all three.

Ok, this is raw, dirty, hot, dark, violent and I love it.

Ok, I must admit that the book is much better now.

I couldn't sleep last night & well, I read & read & read. Not much happens in the first half of this book. But not as bad as I thought it would be.

I've been trying to read a couple of chapters every few days and take my time reading this one but I'm once again getting back into Jamie land. I missed him!

I'm back to the book! I'm done with my temper tantrum.

The poor animal. :(

Ok, so who the hell killed them? I so want to cheat. I keep going back & forth and this bleeping book is going to drive me nuts.

Oh my god, Ben has the worst luck!

Anyone else noticing more and more books from Amazon arriving damaged? This is the 3rd time in less than 3 months where the books come either warped, ripped cover or bent cover. Plus, the books were a gift so its not like I can return them nor do I want to return them. I want to read them not return them!

Almost 7 ft, nearly 300 pounds of muscle... and I thought my hubby was a big guy!

I found myself talking to a friend yesterday about the case in this book like it really happened! I guess I'm a little bit into the story?

This is such a great but disturbing book. Excellent writing- incredible character depth or whatever the hell I'm supposed to say when you love/hate the characters because of the great writing.

It was between Ward or Ione. Ione won. :)

I'm traveling for work. I'm in beautiful Monterey California w/ the beach literally outside my window and what do I do?..... you guessed it.. read. OH, and raid the vending machine for every possible known candy bar since I'm to exhausted to even think of a food to order for room service. I suck!

I had to take a break from the book. The character Denna was driving me up the wall. She's a bitch, and seriously playing Kvothe. Kvothe is ignorant to her games & it annoys me because he's supposed to be so smart. I just didn't care to read anymore about Kvothe while he was with her. I'll get over my mini-tantrum and continue the book in a day or two.

Holy shit. What a disturbing, sad, dark, mysterious, warped story that I absolutely can't stop reading. Twisted & I love it!

Kvothe, uh, this patron of Denna, doesn't it like seem a bit suspicious that maybe she could be involved with the Chandrian? How can Kvothe be so dumb but be so smart?

My 13 year old has a pain in his side. Always on the internet, he has decided to look up every condition known to man (a dangerous thing to do since whatever you look up will be much worse than what you actually have). He texts me at work & says "I think I have kidney stones". So I go back and forth & we determine he probably doesn't. So, his next text on what he thinks he has "Mom, I think I have a prostate". LOL!

Denna, Denna, Denna, .... wtf? I'm tired of Kvothe's love sick puppy attitude. I don't like Denna and how much work Kvothe goes through to "find" her. Hopefully, she becomes a better character later on.

All I can say is I'm absolutely addicted. Reggie and Alys are wonderful. The sexual tension, the background stories of the two characters, even the minor characters are all wonderfully written. This will end up one of my favorites if it keeps going like it has.

I have no clue how I found myself reading this one but I'm in it now so I'm sticking with it. :)

I selected this book by doing Eenie meenie miny moe and I ended up on this book. Good reason to read it right? A very scientific selection process of what to read next!

I don't know what to read next!!!!!!!!!!! It's driving me batty. I have too many damn books. I'm about ready to do Eeny Meeny Miney Moe.
