Finally! Graham at front door! I love the dog. I like Sophia, the gardner is making me nervous.

Prologue...ugg, so long! It's a good thing this isn't book 1 or I'd be having a book bitch fit. I know good things are coming though..patience! Prologue- bleh, bleh, bleh...and more bleh... come on get with the good stuff.

SO addicted.

I'm so loving this story. Or I should say stories. Beautifully written. I MUST go to Scotland.

Ok, I admit it, I shouldn't have stopped the first time around. Very good book.

So much going on!

I was hooked from page 1. I love the way the author writes.

it took me about 40 pages to remember what the heck was going on in this book. But, I'm back into it.

You know what is weird, I'm reading this book & loving the familiarity with the characters and the fact that I know the background, etc, but I feel like I'm just reading the book but not being wowed by it. However, I can't find one damn thing wrong with it.

With the royal wedding early this morning, I'm in the mood for some historical fiction featuring our queens and kings and their backstabbing, off-with-your-heading, power hungry, maidenhead taking ways.

OMG, OMG! I so don't want this to end. I've already downloaded book 2.

Yummie scene between Owen and Gin. I REALLY hope Estep keeps Owen around. I'm so tired of UF authors killing, harming, or turning the love interests for the main female character. Owen is a great guy, not a wuss, loving to his little sis and damnit, I want him to stay.

Oh my god, there is so much going on in this book. It's hard listening to the audiobook without becoming enthralled in it. Which is why, on my way to work, I stopped at a stop sign waiting for the "light" to change to green.

So far so good. I like the way Estep writes.

Where is Arya????? I really like Dani. It seems that the female characters are either really strong or very weak.

I just figured out one of those weird little things... Nikki, the main character, constantly announces what she is "I'm a bleeding heart" or "I'm not a beauty" as part of her narrative. I would prefer that the author let the reader figure that out through actions or conversations.

Something odd/off about the book but I like it regardless. In fact, I failed at cleaning (again) due to this book.

why stereotype the "thug" on the street? Other than that little slip up, this book is good considering all the world building that has to go on.

So, I have a question- When you rate a book, do you rate/review a book based on your personal likes/dislikes (for example- in general I have a bias against the YA love triangle & I know others hate the cliffhanger). Or do you rate a book on how you think others will like/dislike it? My question is not making any sense..lol

I'm dying to know what happened with Jon and the "others" & where is Arya. She's my favorite by far. Where is her wolf? Ok, don't tell me, I'm just thinking out loud. Sorry for the brain purge, it gets to crowded in my head sometimes. LOL

This book is SO much better than Play of Passion (I gave that book 2 stars). I'm loving the interaction/conflict between Hawke & Sienna. My house is suffering due to my inability to stop reading the book last night but oh well. :)

The sexual tension between Hawke & Sienna...smoking. I hope they don't have to deny each other through almost the entire book, I might go crazy if that is the case.

I'm getting closer to the end & so much is happening. I love it but I fear for my favorite characters.

I didn't even make it out of the parking lot of my post office without reading the first 25 pages. THANK YOU CATHERINE!!!!

I'm loving this book but I must temporarily stop it due to the arrival of another book in the mail.

Why did I not like this book the first time I tried reading it? I can't imagine why since I'm loving it this time around.
