This audiobook just came out in an unabridged version for the first time with Davina Porter. Yeah! Can't wait for my Jamie (mine,mine,mine)

I really, really, really can't believe I'm going to do this but I need a break from this book plus the next book in my favorite series just came out in an unabridged audiobook- A Breath of Snow and Ashes (Outlander, #6)

This one has a slower start than Kitty Thomas's other books but I can understand why. I'm glad that Thomas didn't detail alot of the abuse that Grace went through. William is very un-butler-ish (yeah, I know..new word).

This was a quick reread so I was able to get through it even faster than my normal fast speed. LOL

I didn't mean to start this, really I didn't but Kitty Thomas is like a drug, once I start, I can't stop.

this world makes NO sense. None at all.

I actually read this book awhile back but I'm just reviewing the revised edition. It's still just as good. :)

Ok, best chapter so far- Theon with his sister! Too funny! Theon is such a man. other than that chapter, everything is blurring over for me. Too many characters and I forget who is who. I wish Martin believe in less is more or even a little less is just fine! LOL

I actually finished this book last night. Very nice book.

I don't even know what to say about this book except- where is the world building?

Questions- Who caught the girl that was 1st down the zipline from the 100 stories in the air? At the start of the book, Tris mentions synthetic or artificial food (can't remember which) & then later talks about fresh fruit. Which faction is the farmers/growers? Do they have electricty? Where do they get their gas? Trains run on what?They have microscopic transmitters but not enough material to finish paving roads?

Before everyone thinks I'm super hard on YA dystopian books, I absolutely loved Blood Red Road, Hunger Games, & Unwind so I'm not like a total YA book bitch. :)

hmmm...... very much like the action/fighting scenes in Hunger Games but without any real plot yet. I'm not sure where the story is going? It's action plenty but only a small hint of a plot.

I like this book, but it isn't wowing me. It is good though.

So, if she is not supposed to look in a mirror, why would she look when her mom is cutting her hair? It is not like she needs to see in the mirror. Her mom is the one cutting the hair. I hope the reasoning behind the factions becomes clearer. It seems so unnecessary at this point & strange. Hoping this book gets better fast.

Author is very descriptive. It's nice especially after reading a book with hardly any descriptions.

Osha is an interesting one. I keep forgetting Bran is so damn young & I'm all thinking they should hook up. It's hard to remember they are all kids!

So far, so good. Not a bad book but it is very similar to alot of HR I've read so far (and I haven't read many).

I like it. Nothing wowing me. It's moving along. Vampire politics, vampire lust, vampire raves, vampire racism, etc. I keep trying to guess what this huge cliff hanger is?

Roberto- totally crushing on his boss!, Cian- he has no clue what to do with Amal & I love it, he lusts for her but knows he needs to stay away. Samantha, Cian's fiancee, huge comic relief, such a "barbie" personality. Cian is clearly into her because she makes him feel human. I don't think he feels any real love for her.

I almost, almost peaked at spoilers for later in the book. I was good though!

One of the best almost-sex scenes ever. Reading it was better than reading many sex scenes. Wow, don't be fooled by the cover on this book. It has it all not just horror.

The first 35% of this book was VERY dark, very gritty, almost depressing. BUT, the horrific state of Amal's life through the first 35% of this book is well worth it. I love the addition of the other characters.

this book is still 99 cents for your kindle on Amazon. Worth it so far!

Ok, so everything that could go wrong w/ Amaliya has (besides the obvious- she is now a vampire). She keeps hoping her luck will change but so far, it has not. Just got introduced to two other characters. I'm glad, Amal's bad luck was depressing.

Wow, the descriptions are pretty gruesome, be warned, there are no sparkly vampires here. It is intense but so good. I feel bad for Amal, her life is now lots of blood, and fear.
