I'm obviously in a dark book mood. This is excellent though. wow!

wow. I think I've held my breath for 10% of the book..lol. This book is definitely a mindfuck type as well as pretty damn steamy.

LOL... I was clearly distracted earlier. I just found the milk I bought earlier today in the cupboard NOT the fridge.

oh, and I want a dragon!

I keep forgetting these characters are so young. Jeez, if my teens had to do what they did, the world would be in big trouble. I can't get mine to put their damn shoes away without tripping over them!

I think this book is grosser as in descriptions of chopped off fingers, swords through the eyeballs, nice dagger to the stomach and so on and so on and I'm loving it.

Ok, I'm gonna give this one a rest for awhile. I was given really good advice that I might not be in the mood for it and that is why it isn't working for me and I think she is right. So....I'm gonna come back to it shortly.

Ok, I love how the strongest characters so far in this book are both female- Dani and Arya. Go chick power (yes, I AM a dork).

Help me here...I can't stand Ian. He's so damn cocky and selfish. Also, there is so much lack of communication that the story is based on. PLUS, the author fails to give clear descriptions of the surroundings, or events. I'm not really feeling this one. I know it must get better- all the great reviews but I wouldn't be continuing it at this point but for the reviews.

I'm gonna stop this temporarily not because it is bad, in fact, just the opposite. I'm just reading another scottish based novel & frankly my brain is combining characters!

After the reviews I've seen on this book (yes I'm talking about you Ms. Highland Hussy), and my love for anything Scot, this was a must read that turned into a must read now read

I really enjoyed this one.

Ok, so the scenes are definitely a bit harsher. The story is good but something about Nell still bugs me.

I'll tell you what, the Scots sure did go through alot.

I have yet to read anything about Dani, which annoys me. So far, this book isn't impressing me nearly as much as book 1 but it is the start of the book and I was coming off the high of book 1.

Huh, I'm "69%" done. Very cute..lol. Ok, Saskia Walker is a great writer. If you took out all the sex scenes in this book, you would still have a good story.

So I like the story, the bdsm is pretty mild up to this point. I find myself slightly annoyed by Nell and her emotional immaturity. The author seems to show off her intelligence but I'm wishing she was a bit more mature to match her booksmarts.

For some reason, I expected there to be less story more facts, more technical, clinical info. I'm very happily surprised.

Ok, what a horrible trick to play on Nell. I know she agrees to his "terms" (otherwise there would be no book) but I'd be really pissed off w/ him.

Jessie is great, she is definitely full of sass.

I love how the author writes. Very naughty but very good story telling.

Please tell me "King" Rob is not going to get such a big head his crown won't fit? And who is the Bull, is he the former King Robert's bastard son. Me confused!

Tyrion is so hard to figure out- bad guy that sometimes is kind hearted, or good guy that has to "act" bad? Sansa, I finally feel sorry for you. I love Arya.

Very slow beginning. Wasn't too sure about Clara or the entire angel thing but it is MUCH better now and very enjoyable. Christian annoys me for some reason, love Tucker. Angela- I'm suspicious of her, my guess- she really is black angel and is shapeshifting to a white angel? It's not a spoiler- I'm just totally guessing. I'm sure I'm so wrong. I love Jeffrey. Little bro's are always fun.

I have made two attempts to start this book, both times stopping almost immediately. Usually, I would just give up & say the book is just not for me. However, there are a few reviewers that rate this book highly and I really value their reviews. So, here I go again. Hopefully, 3rd time is the charm.
