As claire would say "Jesus H Roosevelt Christ" not again. Just when Brianna receives good news, it happens again! grrr!

This book is nothing new but I like how the authors organized it. It's like having the NFL channel's "Top Ten" in book form.

oops... 1 hour lunch turned into a two hour lunch. oh well...

No reading last night. It was family game night. Parents vs. teens, we get to kill our kids, they get to kill us. Gotta love an Unreal tournament. LOL

I hate you Mira Grant. I need a break or my heart is going to rip apart. Ok, so I don't hate you but I hate your twists and the good writing, and all that.

calling a bad call- "a memorable drive in the snow against the Raiders in the playoffs". A very interesting way of looking at it! Ok, so I'm trying not to read Deadline so instead I find myself reading this book. Need to finish work!!!

So excited to get this early. One of the downfalls of ebooks is I can't put it on my shelf with my other Football books but if I love it, I'll buy the hardcover in November.

This is by far the best book in the series since Voyager.

OMG! I hate the author and love the author at the same time! Must leave work to read the rest of this!

It's FINALLY here!

Last 36 hours- 12 hours of listening to Jamie Frasier (ok, I was driving to and from LA listening to my audiobook). Once in LA, waiting in my hotel room for 7 hours with nothing to do but read (tough life huh?). I could get used to this life (minus the driving which was hellish).

Poor Claire, she's really been put through alot in this book. She needs a day at the spa. hehe

I am such a baby. boohooing again.

I have no clue why I wanted to read this one but I thought I'd give it a try. Since, I'll have lots of time to read over the next few days, we'll see how it goes.

Going to be in LA, in a hotel room for a long time tomorrow night so I'm gonna have plenty of time to read!

This book is so bad for me. After a long ass day, I stayed up way too late reading it. One more chapter kept going and going. This is a survival story at its best. I missed these type of books!

Love this book. Alex is a teenage boy but also acts like a teenage boy in a really bad situation. I love how the author doesn't make Alex into a superhuman!

After a very rough start (like not liking the main characters), this book really picked up.

If you don't like the main characters, it's hard to continue with the book. I know Beau and Chelsea probably end up to be very good characters but their constant sarcastic banter is starting to annoy me since I don't see any other side of them.

I glanced at this book and that is all it took for me!

The book is good but it is not holding me. I keep setting it down. I haven't seen the softer, kinder side of Chelsea or of Beau. Right now, you ONLY see the sarcastic side, the bitterness of their positions in life. I'm holding out for more depth in their characters.

Chelsea is a great character. She is on the run from a man her brother has decided she must marry. This is why she is running- from her future hubby - "I will lead her steps to the Almighty, & with me to guide her, her husband & master to show her the errors of her sex, she will learn well the pathways she must trod". UGG!

Helikaon is ruthless but so loyal to his friends.

GRRR... I can't see any "notifications". I am not ignoring anyone, just can't see anything. I guess Goodreads wants me to actually work when I'm at work versus messing around on goodreads!

Poor Roger, he just wants to do right. So little miss innnocent (Malva Christie) is not so innocent! LOL

Poor Ox. I so want Laodike to hook up with Argurios. I love Xander. I love how the author made the main character Helikaon to have flaws (like a really bad temper when his loved ones are hurt/killed- he likes his revenge). He's a great character though, just not flawless. And don't get me started on Andromache, what a kickass female character. Can you tell I'm loving this book?

This book is NOT what I thought it would be. That doesn't mean I don't like it. It is actually pretty good. Rough start, I didn't like the main character but now it is much better.

I'm not used to only reading two books at a time, decided to throw another book into the mix.

"Error-Try Again". hmmmm.. goodreads is not liking me today.
