I've decided to stop the book at 50% so I can wait until the next book is released. I heard the ending of this book will make me want the next one right away!

I'm indifferent to this book so far, nothng bad but nothing really good. I do hate the names. Other than "Travis", all the other names seem like the author was trying too hard. Even the main character Abbey gets a silly nickname.

So, I was talking to my mom today (which is an adventure in itself) and we were talking about how she could never punish me because I was such a book reading nerd. She would tell me to go to my room and I would stay there much longer than my punishment required. I would hide books everywhere in my room so my mom couldn't find all of them. Did anyone else "suffer" through punishments with books?

When Roger first became a major character in the Outlander series, I didn't really like him. I thought he seemed very non-warrior (aka Jamie) like. A bit of a nerd. However, I now love Roger and if I can't have Jamie, well....

Here is a tip- when wanting to read a book on your Kindle, it is important to actually send the copy to your Kindle! LOL!

So far, pretty good. I'm early into the book. I did notice one of the character's name keeps changing its spelling so now I find myself hyper-focused on trying to catch the next misspelling. I'm a bit of a weirdo!

I've been told that I HAVE to read this book or I will suffer the consequences (my friends can be creative in their torture).

Ok, what the hell did Temple run into? I love Maury. If he dies, I will be PISSSSSED! Double pissed! I will give this book evil negative ratings!

Ok, so wow. This is good. Intense. I forgot to eat while reading during lunch intense. The scenes at Belle Isle were well, wow. Especially with James, when Temple wants something, she just "grabs" it!

Ok, even though I'm at work, I just shut my office door just so I could finish up the chapter I was reading. I swear Temple is killing me! She is quite the survivor & she tries to NOT feel but it is clear that she does (what she did for Dummy was pure compassion even if she calls him dummy). Making him go pick flowers so she could (not gonna say, it is a spoiler). I'm just ramblin here.

Temple is an incredible character. It's a good thing since the lack of world building and the lack of quotation marks would normally have me stop the book. BUT, this is a character driven book in a dystopian setting without the focus on the dystopian setting. I know that makes no sense but oh well! LOL Really, the setting could be a dark room and I'd probably love it because of Temple!

I do have a question, how can so much stuff survive in the world post-apocalyptic? Peanut butter crackers still in their plastic, sodas, batteries (that are still good no less)? Why didn't everything get run over, used up, destroyed? Why are the streets still intact, why is there power in most places? Why am I asking so many questions?

I really, really, really need to go to sleep but I can't stop reading!

I craved a YA paranormal. What is up with that? I liked book 1 (which shocked me since I hated the beginning) and now I'm even more shocked that I'm reading book 2. It takes alot for me to want to continue any YA series books. I hope this one doesn't let me down!

Fergus has some gray in his hair! It can't be. He cannot be almost 40. No.no.no He's still a 10 year old French pickpocket!

This is a silly, weird book. It has weird pacing, switches POV quickly, without warning and the writing style is just, well weird. But I find it quirky and fun as well.

So what is this chick? Amara?

I just took an extra two days off for this upcoming weekend. To spend time with the kids? Nope, they will be gone (AZ). To spend time with the hubby? Nope, he'll be gone (Vegas). So why? Because I can do whatever I want for 4 days & not worry a damn bit about housework, work, or anything else. HEAVEN!

I was having a momentary book crisis regarding what to read next. This book solved my problems quickly!

250 books on my bookshelf or on my Kindle and I have nothing to read! Well ok, I have a ton to read but I can't figure out what I want to read. I've started and stopped about 11 books in the past 60 minutes! I'm like having a rapid cycle reading attack or something!

I liked it. I think I need a break from erotica since I finished two in a row (though the hubby doesn't mind..hehe)

Wow. Just wow. I have done absolutely nothing for the past hour and half except for read this. Did I mention wow. just one last wow.

Isn't what happened Arch's fault? Why does he blame Ian? His wife wouldn't have been in the wrong place, at the wrong time but for Arch's actions! Now, they have to go back to Scotland!!!

Interesting start!

I now can start my housework. I couldn't stop reading this. It was funny as hell, had action and was even emotional! Great book 2!
