I didn't mean to start reading this. It kinda just happened.

It would absolutely suck to have to go marry your enemy so that there could be a truce between two countries that are threatening war.

Roger is such a naughty boy with his "hard hat" fantasy with Bri. LOL

I haven't had anytime to read. Very sad since I want to read not clean, do housework, or actual work while I'm working! And yes, I am whining! I'm sorry.

I love Australian authors. They have something in the water over there that results in some incredible books. I'm looking forward to this one!

Tip for Kindle users- You CAN read your Kindle under your keyboard tray while at work and act like you are busy working (they usually don't question why I would be staring at my keyboard...they nod their head and walk away).

First day back at work. Have kids/hubby back at home (which is nice, I did miss them but don't tell them). Before work, I snuck downstairs to read more & once again reached a very sad part! This book has been so wonderful, but also has torn my little ole heart in pieces.

I have to stop. My house is a disaster & kids/hubby should be walking in the house within the next two hours. I can't have them thinking I've done nothing but read all weekend (which is the absolute truth but that is for me to know and for them not to)!

must stop reading. must act human and see the outside world.

I'm running out of Kleenex, now using toilet paper. It's hard to read when you can't see through the damn tears. Needed a break from the sad parts!

The entire lack of dental care would have driven me bonkers! I'm way too into having all my teeth and having them all not rotten! GROSS! And not washing hands....gross. I guess you did what you knew back then, until you knew better.

I feel like I'm enthralled by this damn book. I must be reading very slowly (for me). I'm only 1/4 of the way through a 384 page book? That can't be right. There must be more pages. The story feels like it is only beginning.

I so need to clean the house. I seem to be unable to do anything but read.

Wow. There is alot of book here. I'm only at 11% but I feel like I read 300 pages. I'm loving it though. I don't know why I didn't read this one earlier!

Besides watching my big bad dog run with her tail between her legs due to the scary little moth in the house, I did nothing but read this book almost all day. It was SO worth it. Believe it or not, I liked it better.

Only read 15 pages before, I'm starting over. Looking forward to it! But my other book is requiring my undivided attention so it will have to wait about an hour!

More intense, a bit darker, more action, but still absolutely outstanding. I must order book 3. This entire series will go on my keeper shelf and I rarely keep my books.

Brought book to family dinner. It's THAT good.

Must stop book to go to father's day dinner (hubby's father- without the kids and without the hubby- kinda weird but he's a good father in law). I hate leaving this book. Loving it as much as book 1!

I absolutely adored, loved, wanted to marry book 1. So why am I holding off on book 2? I don't know. Probably fear it won't be as good. Screw it. There is only one way to find out!

So many books on my Kindle, so many paperbacks sitting in front of me. Of course, I don't have a clue what to read next!

Ty, Ty, Ty... when are you going to wake up and smell your greatness?

I somehow stopped this book long enough to clean my dishes. I was forced to. I had no more forks or spoons. Ok.. so Ty is a hottie. Lily is not a weak, poor-pity-me character which I like. She also isn't a bitch. Pretty hot scenes between them. Some of the ruling vampire families suck! Get it? heheh. I couldn't resist...sorry!

Please don't tell me the dog is dead! DO NOT TELL ME! I have a thing against dead dogs. Ok, yes I know it is a dog. But stillllll. OK, plus as Ian would say "But Auntie, he is a GOOD dog". Damn it. I feel like Claire when she was saying goodbye to her cat!

Ok so Ty is a hunky, strong but lower class shapeshifting vampire (into a cat). Sound crazy? Yeah, well it should but it kinda works in this book. Ms. Castle actually sets up the vampire world and system quite well.

I, at one time, used to love PNR. I then found UF, and then historical romance, and then historical fiction and so on. PNR books didn't do it for me anymore. That silly mushy fated instalove stuff drove me nuts. However, sometimes a PNR book, even with that instant attraction element in it, is really entertaining. That is the case here. I'm really liking this one so far.

I'm soooo disappointed. The book was getting to be so good and it should have ended but no, she had to pack in a stupid poker playing sub-plot. I had the same complaint about a previous book I read from the same author. She is an extremely good writer, just doesn't know when to end her stories. UGG!

I have to admit it. I'm totally hooked on this book. After the slow start, I fell in love with the characters at about 20%. I didn't even want to stop reading to do an update! LOL

I started this book and fell asleep. I don't think it was the book though. I just don't remember. LOL
