ok... taking a smal break from the book. I can't get my heart to stop racing & its making me too damn jumpy. I'm by myself in a hotel room & the ice turning over in the fridge (in the kitchenette) almost made me jump out of my own damn skin. I'm not scared, I just feel like I drank way too much caffeine. High octaine as part of the summary for this book is dead on!

I'm so into this book, I didn't even care about LA traffic, or my 3 hour wait at the car rental (no lie- long story).

Accidently left this book at home and since I'm in LA, it's gonna be a bit hard to read it.

This book was a HUGE mistake. I shouldn't have started it last night. Because I did start last night, I finally fell asleep at 3am (I could not stop reading) & had to get up at 415am to catch a 630am flight. Too say the least, I'm now really tired. OH and this book is incredible. GORY and way, way more violent than Hunger Games but incredible!

Oh Judith's sweetness is starting to annoy me a bit. Her innocence, her compassion, her laughter..bleh,bleh,bleh.

I can't seem to keep my hands on this book long enough to read it. Somehow, it has become the most borrowed book among my female co-workers. Nevertheless, I've managed to read 35 pages before it disappeared again. It is actually very interesting to read about how the male brain works!

Since I'm unsure of how often I'll be online over the next 3 days, I'm putting all the books I plan on reading over those days down now. I've read book 1 in this series and it was wonderful. So, I was really happy to get book 2 as an ARC.

I'm packing for LA and I found my book again! YEAH! It is fate. So, I'll be starting this one later today.

I wanted something light & fun to read last night since I was reading two dark books before this. Now the fact that I'm on page 250 on a Sunday morning does not mean I spent my Saturday evening reading instead of going out. Nevermind, it does mean exactly that!

I'm 5% in and I love it. I can't wait to get back into it. It's like a fantasy soap opera! I also love how dark it is.

This book had a TON of issues for the first half. I almost stopped reading it 3 or 4 times. I'm glad I didn't because now it is more interesting and creepy.

still slow...reminds me a bit of The Restorer (The Graveyard Queen #1) but slower.

Anyone want a book smart, straight A 15 year old teen girl without a shred of common sense? She comes with newly pierced ears... home pierced w/ thumb tacks! I'll trade for a toddler, or even a screaming, crying newborn baby!

This book is right up my alley (what a horrible saying as I don't technically have an alley..lol). Anyhow, I'm excited to start this.

Payne is such a great character. I really like her. I like liking the main female character. Jane and V stuff- way intense. Butch deserves a gold star for his "service" to his friend. Qhuinn and Blay- you are breaking my heart! Saxton- I love you for telling it like it is to Qhuinn!

Done...I loved it.

Ok, so what is so hard about these fantasy novels is figuring out who's who. They don't make it easier either- the same person can be called "dad", "lord" or just use his last name. I feel like I need a character cheat sheet next to me! Am I the only one that gets really confused at the beginning of fantasy novels?

I can't believe how much I've enjoyed this book. I was expecting so much worse. Of the books in the series, it is my 2nd favorite. I love that a particular character is back. oh and what is up with Jocasta and the gold. sneaking old lady!

hanging, snake Bites, militia, regulators, lots of variety in this book. Big gaps of nothing w/ interesting stuff shoved in between.

I left "Lover Unleashed" at work so I decided to give this one a try thinking I could stop it when I got back into work. I'm surpised how much I'm enjoying it. It's pretty good.

I adore Vishous. He's one of my favorite characters. Hmmm.. I'm starting to see a pattern here... Vischous, Mick, Ares... they all are bad boys but with good hearts. Just the idea man I wan't my daughter to strive for! LOL. The exception to my rule- my Jamie!

I don't know if I'm just trying to be difficult in my warped brain but I seem to like the books that others didn't and vice versa. I like this one (so far) even though most readers didn't. What is up with that? Am I just trying to go against the norm or am I really just plain twisted?

Something is missing in this book. It's very ... oh I don't know...it's just..shit if I knew what word I was looking for, I'd be the writer. Anyways, it is interesting enough to keep me reading but I think I'm waiting for something to happen more than what has already happened? Maybe I should sleep and stop w/ the run on sentences?
