What the hell happened with these books. Book 1 through Book 3 were wonderful. Book 4 has dragged on and on. Jamie, my beautiful wonderful Jamie actually is getting on my nerves. Fergus has obviously learned magic because he has disappeared. Ian is now a god damn Mohawk and nobody seems to give a rats ass! Roger, poor Roger! Roger & Claire need to get together and leave all the idiots behind! GRRRRR!

Oh My god! I've never been so annoyed with a book. Endless rambling pages of Jamie's thoughts, Claire's thoughts, Bri's thoughts, I'm surpised we didn't hear from the damn dog! The entire time I'm waiting for someone to get a clue that Mackenzie that Jamie thought was the rapist is actually Roger! Talk about dragging it out! The book is already a billion pages, she didn't need to drag it out!

WTF would Roger leave Bri on her own to go fetch a stupidass gem. Why Roger, why? Oh and what happened with the Captain? I know something happened and it will probably be explained in flashback but I'm so irritated with Roger. You risk your life & then after you take her virginity, wed her (ok not in that order), you decide that you need to get the damn gem right then & there. Talk about setting a story up for doom!

FINALLY, Bri is on her way to America. Still don't know why she left Roger behind and didn't even bother telling him. I'm guessing I'll find out soon enough. I wonder what the story is with Lizzie. Guess I'll find out soon enough too! I'm a bit impatient since I feel like I've waited for half of the book for the story to finally begin!

Why is it I find the thought of Lord John fantasizing about Jamie highly erotic? Loved when Willie ended up literally IN the outhouse.

This book is moving SLOWELY! I keep wondering when something is going to happen!

It's about darn time Bri & Roger!

Ok, so this is so like a book club question but I'm curious.. Do you think Claire was in love w/ Joe? I've been thinking about this since book 3. I'm not talking friend or brother type love but love-love. Got it? In book 3, Jamie askd Claire do you know how it is to love someone that you aren't allowed to love or something like that, and Claire said yes and then it mentions she was thinking about Joe. So did she?

Gosh, my grammar and spelling is horrible. I can see how bad it is once I am done writing but while I'm writing, I'm oblivious.

This series is so comfortable for me. I just like the characters, and the story even if they are just talking about absolutely something insignificant (like the difference between a Opposum and a rat or a croccidile vs a alligator- don't mind my spelling..lol).
