Now that I know the end of the book, I don't know if I want to continue. I'm sooooooo irritated with myself.

OMG... I'm so irritated with myself. I accidently read the book summary for book 3. I know, it's my fault but I'm mad at myself!

So when did I download this book? I have no clue but it has a great start and I'm enjoying it tremendously. I've come to the conclusion that the best way to decide what books to read is to just read the first few pages, if it calls to me, I'll continue reading. This one definitely has my number (so far at least)

Rough prologue... So, would a 13 year old ever say "erection", wouldn't she say "his dick is hard". I'm so over-analyzing books right now.

Lots and lots going on. Exactly where did they get all the explosives? I know if I went on a salvage run, I'm not likely going to find the amount of material necessary to create explosives especially over 11 years. Don't explosive material age over time? Just thinking too much, don't mind the old brain cells churning, they usually are churning wrong.

maggots on dog but indications that dog had been there a long time "old blood". The forensic entomologists at my work would have a field day with that one.

Oh yes, I have questions as well... Is the "Isolation War" the same as the "Partials War"? Also, how old is Jayden? And no, I can't just enjoy a book without asking a million questions.

That would be fine if it wasn't Kira talking, I think the author meant to say "Don't do anything stupid, Jayden". Hopefully all these little problems will be fixed before the book is released.

So is it a camel or a donkey? 10%- "..she found herself nose to nose with a camel", 11%- "kira watched the man as he sorted out the blankets, squeezing between the dusty couches to arrange sleeping space for ten people and a donkey." So donkey or camel? Later it is a camel again but who knows, it might go back to a donkey.

oh I like you Mr. Wells. Good stuff right from the beginning. Loved the first chapter.

I never thought, of all the characters in this series, a "human" female would be turning into my favorite. She is a hoot and I love how she stands up to Lothaire.

so sad w/ Lothaire's mom. Love this book so far. Soroya is evil times 10. I hope Lothaire sees that the vamp bitch is using him as much as anyone else.

Ok..characters good, world..not so good or lacking. Story interesting but oddly angel-less

Divergent itch coming on... What time period are we in? What is this "jump"? What is the Enlightenment? Underground London... no references to London so far? The itch is bad...only 66 pages in. Hopefully the characters will satisfy the itch.

All I can think when listening to this book for the 2nd time is THANK YOU Diana Gabaldon for letting us into your beautiful imagination.
