Could Austin be any sweeter? Seriously? And Houston, holy shit, really, he has to be one of the best tortured heroes ever. And Amelia...lucky girl. It's a good thing I like her. Why did I wait so long to read this?

I've been reading too many good books at night..so lacking sleep. Houston is gonna kill me... my heart is going to break in half.

ok. I'm not really "currently reading", I'm getting ready to be "currently reading" since my family has abandoned me for facebook, I don't feel bad coming on here during what I said was my "family time". I guess I should be happy that my 16 yr old, and 14 year old even want to sit in the same room with their goofy, bad joke telling mom still. As for hubby aka dad...he's having an affair with the history channel.

So instead of going home from work to read this, I decided to stay at work and read this. I'm by myself, at work, reading. I figured this would be a great way to avoid the family and claim "late work night". I'm SUCH a bad mom.

I think I'm going home early to finish this. I think I must.

slow, confusing start but then wow. Up WAY too late reading. Great book, love the way Atwood writes.

I've always been an Atwood fan and I've wanted to read this one for a long time. When I saw that it was available on Kindle, I was sold on it. I'm going to try and read this one slowly over time.

oddly enough, the zombies are insignificant to the story so far. It really is a teen "survival" story dealing with the after effects of an abusive parent and be abandoned. I hope more of the dystopian/horror/zombie elements come out.

I've never been a Erika Berger fan but the shit she has to deal with regarding her stalker is all bad.

Ok, these two are smart, intelligent people. Why do they have to misunderstand each other so often? Communicate! It's very effective when wondering what the other is actually thinking or what his/her motives are!

i love Kalle fucking blomkvist. He's even managed to impress Lisbeth with the cell phone.

Since I got really into the other book, I'm going to wait and finish that one before I start this one.

Love the dialogue- very witty, love the characters- both strong, but very insecure with lots of doubt, love the mystery. Can you tell I'm lovin it?

Totally addicted. My dog and I average 5 miles a day walking just to listen. I swore that I wouldn't listen to audiobooks unless I was either exercising or driving to and from work. Since I am off work for a few days, it means lots of exercise for me and my doggie!

Lanore (LaLa) is a very real, down-to-earth mixed bread stuck in a caged city surrounded by purebreeds. It's hard to explain but I'm lovin this. Very different type of UF.

Dark, gritty, UF... adult! Lovin it.

Book is driving me crazy but I'm determined to continue because I need to see how the author is going to make something out of this book.

"No, I did not want him to touch me. Not after those hands had curled around another's throat." WTF.... This was Chase saving her life and she is flipping out. She is such a hypocrite. He saves her and she holds it against him. I guess it's okay for her to claw at a guard trying to save someone, use blackmail to get out, and lie, cheat, and steal...but god forbid someone else does anything and it offends her!

"You're the one who sent me there! Now it matters what happens to someone else when you disappear?" OMG..... I can't stand this chick. Yes, I'm going back and updating all my updates... I wrote too many notes for this book to not put them down!
