The concept is super intriguing, especially the fact that Charlie doesn't hide his job from random people. And they seem intrigued in their right and sometimes weirded out, but not incredulous.

It is still in the story establishment stage, so I'm not sure where it is going. There is an extreme paucity of description, so sometimes I feel quite lost in a chapter.

Karishma is on page 90 of 132 of 38 Bahadurabad (Essential Asia)

Some of the dialogue sounds odd in English, but sometimes make sense when translated into Hindi. I suspect these are Urdu or Persian expressions originally, and have been translated verbatim. But none of the punch or humour is lost, and I admit I completely lost it at this:

"Ali Agh was a snake who wouldn't piss on your chopped finger."

I mean.. 😂😂
