most people who read the wedding date don’t like this book, so it’s a good thing i haven’t read it yet lol. i didn’t even know this was a “sequel.” tbh this is really funny and sweet so far!!

idk why i stopped reading this book (well i do know why, re: 2020 has been a RIDE) but i’m glad i picked it back up - it’s so dreamy and magical

this book is so good so far wtf???? the hype is SO REAL!! AAAA!

this will be the only book about race by a white author im going to read for a multitude of reasons, but i think this in particular is an important place to start bc this book is written by a white author, for white people. and to echo others, yeah, most whites should read this esp those who call themselves “progressives.” (also i’m surprised by how short this audiobook is, i could probably finish this today.)

the first few pages are little wonky but it’s good so far!!

really really enjoying this so far! it’s like mini Ask A Mortician episodes in each chapter haha
