these books are fucking crack and i love it

yes i’m reading this for my marketing class, what of it.

i’ve read this HOW MANY TIMES but i still cry like a freaking baby 😭😭😭😭

( i added in the amount of times i THINK i read this but tbh i reread this book constantly and i'm due for another)

the fact that i’m reading about government cutting funding...for pandemic-prevention resources....in the year of our lord 2021. omg Cole predicted the future 😭

tbh this book is putting me in a lil reading slump ಠ_ಠ like i’m too far to DNF and there are a lot of aspects i like but i’m just straight up not vibing w this idk

weird that a book can be both boring and interesting at the same time lol i do have 2 theories and i am intrigued to see how this shakes out

okay i was TERRIFIED that i’d gotten spoiled in a major way like years ago, but with so much left in the story im just so relieved that i still don’t quite know what is *exactly* going on.

i’m very confused but intrigued lol

it’s not that i’m DISLIKING this, but the breaking-the-forth-wall writing style is a bit off-putting. i hope this gets better bc rn i’m feeling very “meh” about this :/

it’s lowkey kind of hard to be creeped out when you want the villain to die 🤔😅

wow—if that gripping introduction is any indication, i’m going to seriously enjoy this book

YO what the hell?! is the racism in every other freaking chapter really that damn necessary?!

idk if it’s just bc it’s “southern” but that’s still not a good excuse to treat the ONLY native american and the ONLY black woman like this. i get that it was written in the 80s but just have an all-white cast instead of treating the only POC characters like trash.

i literally cannot stop reading this
