I really like the development of the world- the Wyrd concept and wyrdmarks, for example.

This story is good. It’s YA, so it flies by more quickly than the other series I am reading.

It did get slow for awhile, but once again the characters are amazing.

It has slowed down a bit. There are plot threads that need tying up.

I am really liking this series. I am grateful I had a Goodreads friend who pointed me in the right direction! I plan to go the distance with this author.

The storyline is picking up, much as the last book did. I really like these characters. I am curious to see what Burrich is worried about if Fitz bonds!

The author uses reincarnation as a driving plot element, following various characters in their lives as their fate (wyrd) binds them together. It's interesting.

I am almost starting to feel sorry for Borneheld. The good guys are getting overwhelming.

I am getting into stoic philosophy. It’s interesting to me how it forms the underpinnings of cognitive behavior therapy.

I finished the fifth book (inside this collection) and am working on the sixth. The fifth book became much more of an overview of the war, which isn't as interesting to me as the character driven material Cook produces. The sixth book seems to get back to the characters.
