This book has a darker, less surreal feel than the first two.

I am finally getting time to read again. It seems like a good time to finish this series. Dark, complex, and sure to take my mind off of current events.

If I would’ve realize this book was this good, I would’ve read it a long time ago. I love the creepy Slavic mythology.

I have this on loan form the library and it will be due soon, so I need to hurry. I am still absorbing the Russian setting and the unusual character names.

This has been a great book. I am closing in on the end now.

This book is speeding along nicely now. The characters are taking on a life of their own.

The addition of the Gray Man adds quite a bit to the plot.

This second book starts off quickly. Now that the character have been introduced and the overarching plot previously established, the author is moving things right along.

The plot is flying along now. I am glad the book took it's time developing the characters- it makes the action that much better!

The story is picking up steam and becoming really engaging. The background on Glenower helped considerably, and Blue and Gansey are becoming more developed as characters as well.

The relationships with the characters take up a lot of plot space which keeps the story from moving forward at times. I am okay with that since I like the characters and the atmosphere.

A bit of over the top romance combined with well written action scenes- it’s an easy, fun read so far.

It’s time to move towards the end of this series. It’s been good, and draining at the same time. There is so much packed into this.

Over the last week or so, Goodreads has been randomly adding books to my tbr that appear on my profile, some not even in English? I am not proficient in any other language!

I can feel all the plot thread winding together. I still haven’t figured Amber out, but I am sure I will soon.

The final book in the trilogy is officially underway.

After tons of characterization the action is heating up. What an awesome series.

These new characters are becoming interesting. The Satrap is an example of a well rounded antagonist.

I read late last night and early this morning. I am throwing out my Amber theories and starting over. She is linked to Paragon for sure.

The family politics and plotting are intriguing. I’m still trying to figure out what’s up with Amber, but I suspect she might be the one the serpents are looking for.

I have had numerous hints about Amber, but I am still not seeing it.

It’s picking up right where the last book left off.

The size of this book and the series is allowing the author space to really develop the characters. It’s difficult to stop reading- I want to see what happens to them.
