143 of 308 Ch. 14 Grace - It's not the most exciting story but it's interesting. It's not historical fiction, there are no historical events at the moment and while there is one storyline that is 60 years ago but we don’t even know the year or decade it's set in, and the period isn't essential to the storyline. Anyway, I think I have this all figured out.

Country Bride Ch. 1 - A Little Bit Country was a snoozefest. The characters were flat and the way everyone sat idly by and let others dictate their future was severely outdated and disappointing. I hope the next book is better.

Ch. 7 - This is how I imagined 70s romance novels are, dramatically polite friction. Nevertheless, I didn't see that coming it's so hackneyed. I don't know if this story put me to sleep or if I'm willing to sleep to get a break from it. These characters could be in Bedford Falls and fit right in.

Ch. 22 - I was just trying to make it to the end, but this book has so much artificial sugar I'm going to be sick. 😫 Two pins! 📌 📌

32 of 376/395 A Little Bit Country Ch. 3 - I had to Google MGB, I don't feel bad since now I know it was old and rare in 1990. I've seen them and never knew the name. The plot is ridiculous, very Hallmark.

Page 15 of 338 Ch. 2 - I'm only a chapter into this book but I already know it's going to make me cry. 38 year-old with Alzheimer's and a guy in the same situation, in the same nursing home, tragic love story! In the future, I should stay away from Sally Hepworth's books written prior to The Mother-in-Law, I think The Family Next Door was the bridge between heartbreaking drama and domestic suspense. 3:09:44 Part 1 Ch. 11 Spring Fever Ruby - I think it's going to take me a while with this one. I don't love it or dislike it. It's past warming up but is a bit on the slow side. I feel like it has 5-star potential just low action.

This is the most moronic, mindless, meaningless crap I've read in a long time. The injudicious MC is on my nerves along with the half-witted detectives, every character they introduce is more dense and insane than the previous one. The plot is nonexistent at this point. I just realized the last 10 chapters are practically gibberish. I need to quit while I'm ahead. I can't believe the feel of the pages kept me reading

3:32:34 Ch. 26 - Well the single dad with 2 girls was mentioned so I'm not confused anymore. Travis is definitely new.

Ch. 26 - The pages are primarily I'm continuing. How is this not a cozy mystery? The level of stupidity among the characters provides no other explanation.

55:22 Ch. 8 - Of course, I had to read a preview of The Nantucket Inn. My focus wouldn't let it go. I'm happy to report Kristin's Sean was married to Andrea with a son named Julian so Victoria was married to a different Sean, unless Kelley renamed her and erased the kid, it wouldn't be the first time she's done either.

49:55 Ch. 7 - I forgot about the active duty son that's been stationed decades in Japan with 5 years to go. 🙄 This is just what I need to ignore the mistakes in The House of Eve.

I reread the blurbs and I'm still a bit confused. Is Victoria the ex-wife of Sean, Kristin's ex? If so shouldn't she have a kid of her own? I'm not going to reread these books, but ma'am, keep your story straight!

1:43:21 Ch. 6 Well Eleanor - I was only reading this because I couldn't read the 2 books I wanted, one is in print and the is scary. I was getting into this story but it's set in 1948 and features songs that weren't recorded at the time. All I can say it matters to me. If it's 1948 you can’t play songs that were recorded in 1949 and 1954, it irritates me. So I'm going to read some lack of continuity by Pamela Kelley

Ch. 20 - I'm officially bored. This is getting slower and the MC denser. If the pages were soft and silky I would have quit a few chapters back.

36:45 Part 1 Ch. 3 The Sweetest Thing Ruby - I'm not crazy about it, but I'm going to give it a fair chance. It's going on the back burner for now.

41:09 Ch. 6 - I don't remember these people. I thought there was a single father in the last book so I'm confused. I'm going to have to refresh my memory, but I sense a continuity switch.

2:39:07 Part 1 Ch. 10 - This is interesting, my only complaint it the earlier chapters seemed to have a fluid timeline and I didn't know we were in the past until halfway through the scene.

Page 78 of 529 Ch. 9 - The opening was mid-tempo, I'm not crazy about it but I love the feel of the pages. My current thoughts are how do you know they're cops but I overthink as usual. I'll read more tonight.

Page 113 of 206 Ch. 9 Complications of Liver Disease - I think I've officially found too much information. 😅 This book reads like a high school science book, complete with graphics, I appreciate it, but I just learned about things I wasn't interested in learning, but I'm not mad about it. Hopefully I can finish this in the morning.

9:17:39 Ch. 57 - This is disappointing. Just ridiculous but not as crazy as The Exes. This narrator is making me think of Leon when he does Isaiah's dialogue.

1:03:15 Ch. 4 - This was already a decent plot I wasn't expecting it to be horror, so this should be interesting.

Ch. 8 Utilities - Finally out of coupons and cleaning solutions and now I'm done. There is a lot of good information here but its all old news to me.
