Ugh

Ch. 20 Chemical and Food Sensitivities - I want to read more but this book says I should be sleeping. It reads like fiction. I'm going to be evaluating medications for sure. I may have to use heat instead of Motrin in the future. So much awesome information here.

3:21:30 Ch. 6 - Okay, I'm frustrated but very interested. IMO give it till chapter 4, that's where it changed for me unfortunately it's a quarter into the book and there are many tropes.

I just feel like the author is talking to me like I'm a four-year-old and it's not worth it since I don't relate to half her metaphors and I think the subject matter is one that no longer applies to me. There are xxiv (24) pages before 1, so I've read 63 pages, and it doesn't feel like it. I was hoping for 100 or at least to make it to chapter 8 in section 2, but my brain is done. I'm surprised by how easy to read this is. I already ordered a copy for my mom. I think this is the book to read, more in-depth than Skinny Liver, which I loved.

Page 104 of 249 Ch. 14 - This is getting a little inconsistent. I'm going to make the best of it, but it's hard to ignore the tiny shifts in fact. Everyone has issues, and there is the Big C. I'm not even worried because, with all of this drama, it has to be a happy ending. We shall see.

Page 24 of 246 Ch. 2 Store Types, Store Incentives Programs, and How to Use Both Effectively - I liked the introduction, which is not part of my page count, but the coupon information in chapter one seems outdated. I looked it up and sure enough, this book is 13 years old.

Ch. 22 - I'm only stopping because of my husband, dinner ans Survivor 34.

Ch. 16 - I liked that Celia isn't a complete pushover; I don't like the spelling selection of Cee-cee; Cece would have been better. I have book 2 ready to go.

2:29:46 Ch. 4 - These chapters are long, but none have surpassed chapter one. It's slow, but the story is finally picking up. I'm going to read my other book and come back later, this is a slow-cooker romance.

1:26:42 Ch. 10 - This plot is ridiculous. I only stayed so long because I only had 2 audiobooks to choose from a needed to do chores. I'm switching to my errands. I'm not sure I'll continue this series based on what I've heard so far.

Page 18 of 244 Ch. 2 - Why do I keep choosing these books? This is the nightmare of married women. I'm going to read a few more chapters after my stack scan, this one had potential. I like the sister.

Page 20 of 220 Ch. 1 Crap Happens and Then We Make It Worse - I've only read the introduction. I didn't realize this was the sequel for another book that's been on my TBR forever. This book may not be for me, but I'm going to try to read it anyway. I'm already annoyed by the excessive sugar coating.

4:40:51 Ch. 26 - This is more like it. Bookish characters that have opposing personalities. I was supposed to be skimming my books with 1 chapter to see which one to read next, but I couldn't put this one down and 1 chapter turned in 25. It would have been a single sitting read, at 3 A.M. no less, but my body's demand of rest is winning over my desire to continue.

6:45:40 Ch. 23 - They are really drawing this out. The investigation is more exciting than the romance and it's a bit frustrating waiting for them to move forward. All of the summaries of previous storylines from other series is unnecessary and irritating.

Day 16 The Caregiver Cliff - This chapter is the reason you should read both books. In the original book Day 16 is Financial Fornication and a completely different topic. So instead of talking about how you should mingle your money before marriage, we now will learn about long-term care insurance.

3:19:17 Day 10 - This is where this book is outdated. It also isn't as funny or eye-opening as the beginning was.

Day 10 Marrying Your Money - I don't know if it's getting boring or if my brain is slowing down but the last few chapters weren't as good as the beginning. A lot of different I had to stop the other book many times.

Part Two Fasting for a Better Financial Life - These last few chapters were my favorite so far I would I could quote them but most are too long. There was more new material in this section.
