Mostly bored by the triple timeline all mixed and all in present tense. Confusing. And slow going. Not the book for me.

(She is looking for some badass Lord of the local shapeshifters and she thinks he must be a Lion, Panther or similar)

There is something refreshing and not at all dated about these books.

I haven't read too much historical fiction this year so I decided to pick almost at random one of the books being listed as the crème de la crème for us to vote. I thought I could read it before the 8th. I could. But I'm not hurrying. Because the story is fine but I really don't like too much her writing.
I should have gone for the Kearsley... **shrug** oh well

Indiana Jones' legacy I guess.
The book was entertaining. They survive a double train crash, the fall from a helicopter, the crash of a plain, a sinking, some pissed off natives and not one but three Indi's style temples with traps, caimans and the lot.... with only a couple scratches.
No idea how they choose an audiobook narrator over another. This woman had a nasal childish voice that made them all sound silly.
