I like to read some ghost story from time to time. This one was good as a mystery since it wasn't easy to figure out the murderer. But it was an k book in the spooky scale and I wasn't too happy with character development. Edward is a little 2-dimensional and both Lucy and Violet are so beautiful ("bright and lovely, like a spring daffodil blooming right on my doorstep") that they aren't much else. First in a series.
