Really enjoying the setting of the theme park. The dreamland park seems to mirror the Disney theme park.

Highly making up for book number 1. Loving it!

Already read 56 pages of this book. Seems better than the first book.

Trudging through the book

There wasn’t as many mentions of being a low funded researcher in this book so far. Felt like it was brought up a lot in the love hypothesis

I don’t understand how post graduate studies work and funding. Especially in America let alone Scotland. Is studies funded through other companies putting money into the university and fields of study. Research in the uni vs out of the uni.

I knew Dr.Kline knew the Harkness team. I did wonder if she took their patent which it seems to be. I think what got her rich or important was something those students worked on.

Getting annoyed at the constant reference to Harkness take-over at Kline. I feel like Florence might have stole from Kline? Stole one of their ideas or parents.

Some lunch reading. Not the most riveting book. So we’ve found Rue used to be a skater. An odd addition to the book story at the moment. Which completely goes against Rue’s character.

I am intrigued at why Harkness want to buy Kline however I feel that explanation could be a couple pages.

Not entirely keen on the main character. Ensure what Florence has done. I feel like she’s stole a patent. The main character seems like that waif character.

Enjoying the book progressing so far

Not keen on the standoffish persona from the main character.

Really enjoying the book so far. I like how the chapter flipped back to when they were teenagers. Emotions on the pages were really getting to me.

Some lunch time reading in the cafe in Braehead

Nash Morgan was shot and can’t remember how it happened. Lina is reviewing into the guy who shot Nash. The moment where Nash revisited the scene of the crime honestly it was written so well. I felt my own heart beating. Plus the worry cycle he went through when Lina was saving the dog. Wrote very well.
