I can predict a little about how the threads will combine. I can see that the Jini and the golem will grow close, more than friends. I can see the bad guy rabbi finding the golem. Nephew Michael has the good rabbi uncle’s papers, which will fall into the hands of the bad guy. I predict that the Jini will cure the ice cream man of his devil. How it will be resolved, I can’t guess. Fascinating story.

Wow, what a fascinating story. The woman made from clay is the golem, lost when her master dies but rescued by a rabbi. The jin is a genie! He is freed and in the care of a tin smith. I’m learning about both.

My first Nora Roberts novel, and it’s much better than I expected. The danger is growing closer as Adrian gets closer to her own happiness, and the suspense is palpable.
