Time travel? Really? Did we have to go there?

Yeah, that turned stupid really quick. I hope it picks up again through to the end.

This is really clever so far, but I've got a feeling it's going to go bad soon.

Took a break for Tarzan, now I've got an hour or so to wrap this up.

This is bonkers crazy, but a lot of fun. Tomorrow I'll download the rest of Kiln People, but I'll probably finish this off first.

I was really enjoying this, and then discovered that I only downloaded part one of three audible segments. Now I have to wait to carry on!

No wonder the story was moving so fast, this is two novels in one ebook! Now that I think about it, I kinda remember it was going to be that way.

At least try to pretend it wasn't the evil uncle all along!

This is fun, but I'm having problems keeping the names of the two main characters straight.

I must have read this many times when younger, as every scene feels super familiar.

Only got a few chapters into this one, but stopped for no reason. Now I'm back at it.

Second time through this book, this time by audiobook.

Yeah, slow going for this bit.

Leaving behind the first half, which I really enjoyed, and moving into the unending chase around Nessus. Hmmm.

This is a very sad book. But pretty awesome so far.

This is quite remarkable. Not what I was expecting at all.

Got through to the end of the first story in this 5-story fixup/collection.

It ended exactly how I thought it would, but that was the awesome way. On to story 2.

What the fuck is this coda at the end? Seriously, what the fuck? Do I have to get to the end of it to make any more sense of the story that's already over, or is it just superfluous? It's utterly boring and annoying at the same time. And the narrator has exactly one dimension of emotional range, and this is at the teeth-grind-inducing end.

Narration has improved a bit, attribution in dialogue still annoying, but the story is really good fun. I'm sticking with it.

I need to look up the narrator of this, because he is (almost) the worst I've ever listened to. Luke said.

Getting near the end, and it's really picking up. Will it turn into a zombie story? Probably not, but it felt like it for a short while.
