This book is making me think "Well, duh..." a lot. Maybe what I've thought obvious for a long time is new to most people? I'm just unsure of the general futurism vibe I get from this type of book.

This is written in a very strange way. It's like all the predictions have already been fulfilled.

The Ordeal is now an actual ordeal, which is good. And the fellowship have just left Mirkwood. Or Entwood. Or whatever.

By the way, as a professional juggler, I can tell you that learning to juggle isn't that easy.

I've read this twice before, but hopefully I'll enjoy it as an audiobook too.

I'm not sure I'm going to finish this. The story isn't grabbing me, and I know the story continues for another 11 books after this one ends. Also, how can I care about characters dying when they can be brought back to life by gods on a whim? I mean, there's a lot more going on, but that is one of many silly annoying things for me.
