ugh, the dialogue is.. a bit convenient, and jumps in wisdom too often..

Hmm... reading this further...while it's interesting... the writing is a rushed and it's not really heading in the direction I was hoping.. Onto Volume two..but unsure at this point..

One of the greatest hallmarks of this series, besides the amazing politics, is the amazing space combat... I love how slow, methodical and ponderous the actions are... Things take hours to happen, not all flashy boom boom lights and lasers

Ugh! Of all books for them to use as reference, they went and used Cibola Burn as the connecting piece! Yuck!

Ugh, the artwork does not fit the time period. The very classic 1960's feel of Alred's art nailed it, in the first volume. This volume just feels off and disjointed. Classic Batman '66 writing with modern day art and designs. It doesn't work..

Really didn't need this book to shadow the events of all three movies to the tee. It's such a monumental stretch to believe these characters where exactly when and where each movie is set. Down to the ships and battles. Lack of originality.
