No one said Star Wars books should be Shakspearian in quality...but damn Dialogue for young people in the most S.W books I've read is really shitty...it's like George Lucas writes this crap...

Ehh sort of disappointed, the artwork is very inconsistent here..plus it's not even in the same pure 1960's style of the show...

Oh man, if this ending isn't setting us up for a sequel then I'm horrible at reading comprehension. Ha, not subtle in the least, but good be an interesting, fun sequel.

What a fun read! I like how the team is forming, with each new "member" leading into finding the next. Interaction with Sherlock, and the breaks in story with the dialogue between the girls is so good, and feels so natural

Great so far! Listening to the Audio though, it's a bit hard when the narration breaks for the "outside" commentry of Mary, Mrs. Poole, Catherine etc.. but not too confusing!

The dialogue is written like a young adult novel... Plus the narration is equally over the top and "edgy"... hard to listen to, to take seriously.

Ehh... story is pretty...weak at best. Not really buying into this elite squad idea to get revenge for the death star and the ease of which the 4 members just landed the positions. I like the idea of them being more subterfuge but the Empire would already have had such a CIA like uhh the ISB?? So they only now thought of a squad to actually execute the findings of the ISB?

lol... you know reading this book, makes if blantently and painfully obvious how much of a plot hole the destruction of the Death Star really is... I just can't believe or "force" (get it?) myself to believe that a station with literally the top brass of the Empire on it, would have NO defense, or ability to see incoming fighters...or any support ships in orbit...

While 1776, dealt with major events in the time frame immediately around the year 1776, this continues long after into the details of the continuation of the war and it's affects. Lots of good stories... Benedict Arnold...hard no idea he was such a prick.. R.I.P Major Andre

Funny how many of the battles and victories we had are due to guerilla tactics and definitely not the most valourous means. Yet...when our own enemies do it... "Cowardly acts of terrorism!!" :P Colonial Marion though..liking this guy aka...Swamp Fox Not overwhelming force, subtle and smart strikes

The Founding Fathers have some truly odd daily rituals. I like how honest the book is though. I hope this is an accurate view of history. I read 1776, but it's been awhile... I do though recognize many of the men mentioned and stories. Both of these books are very very similar.

My god this book doesn't end... It has it's ups and downs. Right now, in part two, it's back to it's original entertainment. Focusing on Sancho and Don. They encounter another knight and his squire. Funny how Sancho compliments Don as a valiant brave and fearless leader to some, but a fool, idiot and brash bully to other people, depending on who he's talking to xD

Really not liking the departure from the Don/Sancho story. The love story between these off screen characters is getting a bit repetitive.

"Now turn your eyes...and you will see in front of and at the head of the other army the ever victorious and never defeated Timonel of Carcajona, prince of Nueva Vizcaya, who wears his armor quartered--blue, green, white, and yellow--and who bears on his shield a cat of gold on a tawny field, with a legend that reads: Meow...

The writing and humor..is stitch tearing...

What an interesting narrative style... It comes off funny and comedic on the surface... but then very sad and tragic if you think about what's happening to him. I sort of feel like I'm laughing at a mentally challenged person?

Really good stuff... Despite my overall main complaint about the sort of needless complexity and vaguness of the plot at times... the only other complaint I have is the modern cursing just sort of stands out.. I have no problem with cursing and swearing, but in this setting it just doesn't fit...

The narration for Jule and Driller is just...cringeworthy...literally it's freaking hard to listen to this... It sounds like a cartoon mockery of valley girls, It's completely and utterly laughable, but It's seriously killing the story. And apparently the vapid Jule is supposed to come off as a dojo martial artist?? What on earth were they thinking with the voices?? Marc Thompson you really screwed this up...

So, despite the well needed "dumbing down" of Thrawn's demeanor, I still think he comes off as far too clever for him to be all that likeable for me. He still comes across as the cliche "moustache twirling" villain that just knows and has the ability to handle way too much. BUT I will say this... the "inner monologue" parts in the book really help with this, as it provides his inner thought and reasoning...
