Good lord, Brodie is only 33? I though she was in her seventies.

Odd. A man exposes himself to one of the high school girls. It’s quickly forgotten by the author. It seems to only function as a reason for the girls to glimpse the policewoman. I’m curious at why the author is telling the girls to “forget it.”

Miss Brodie is a fan of Mussolini. Weird book.

First, I thought Miss Brodie was a noble rebel. Now I’m thinking she’s just flippant.

This book is too funny.

It would have been more interesting if the book had started with and followed this out-of-place paragraph (suddenly in first person for some reason?).

Does the author realize he just got his arm and ribs broken, but the police don’t pick up on any clues, like visual observation? Also, his mom seems pretty chill, too?

I would’ve thought Kira would be more apprehensive with her teenage daughter going out to party with boys. Although we’ve spent so many pages on her philosophy on Beartown and hockey that I have no idea what kind of mom she is.

I think this book makes high school more interesting than it really is.
