Giving this series another chance and rereading the first three volumes. Seems like a good time to try again because it can't be worse than the stuff I just read.

This feels like a cross between Mirai Nikki and Gantz, which I'm not opposed to.

I was afraid this book might make me sympathize with Levana but she just raped her guard so yeah, nope, still hate her.

Channary did not like to take the elevators. She had once told Levana that she felt queenly having to lift her skirts as she went up and down the stairs. It had taken all of Levana's efforts not to ask if that was the same reason she lifted her skirts all those other times too.

So far this is Tangled in space and I am ok with that.

This whole interview section would've worked better if all three people didn't talk and feel the same. Without the labels it could've just been one person talking to themselves.

And these teens sure managed to remember a bunch of minute details while trying to escape with their lives, witty quips galore. And their stories matched up perfectly.

The battle scenes in this series are always so messy but the ones in this volume seem particularly confusing. Image in comments.

I don't know what's wrong with me lately but I keep finding manga that makes me cry. I actually had to pause for a bit because this is just so sad.

But then the 2nd chapter has a completely different tone. We'll see if this works in its favor ...

Oh wow, this is really quite sad. I suppose I should've expected that since this author also wrote A Silent Voice.

I don't remember this happening with the earlier volumes but the last 3 have all made me cry.

Now I remember why I stalled on this volume. Promotions and introductions and zzzzzzcan the ghouls just start eating these people already?

Damn it, there's a whole chapter about Mion/Shion switching when they were kids too. So the tattoo on the person we know of as Mion was actually supposed to be on Shion's back, because she's the original Mion.

This is all starting to seem unnecessarily confusing and it's pulling me out of the story.
